Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition (PC) - Achievement - A Second Hastings
Wipe out Humphrey's base before defeating Jacqueline in "The Hook and Cod Wars".
To win, you must destroy Jacqueline's castles in the 3 cities she has. Humphrey (Red) is based across the sea from your starting camp and will annoy you with boat attacks and the occasional troop landing. He must be eliminated before you destroy Jacqueline's 3 castles for the achievement to trigger.
Humphrey is based all along the coast which means you can use Cannon Galleons to destroy a good chunk of his buildings, but you are still left with two castles and his inner, less coastal buildings to deal with. Also note that there is an objective to destroy his 3 Lumber Camps which can be destroyed with Cannon Galleons. Once you do this, he will no longer build boats, however the achievement states you must WIPE OUT Humphrey's base, so destroying the Lumber Camps alone is not good enough. You have to destroy him completely / force him to retire.
Your best bet is to clear a landing area with Cannon Galleons and build a forward base on his land. He can be a bit tedious to deal with as he focuses on Longbowmen which are quite effective against Bombard Cannons, so Capped Rams are a good alternative siege weapon to use. Due to his Longbowmen being close to his castles, it's not always easy to just counter them with cavalry either as the castles will kill them pretty quickly. He will also construct siege weapons to counter you building on his land.
Once you eliminate Humphrey, return focus to Jacqueline and finish the level, triggering the achievement. Note that once you destroy one of Jacqueline's castles, you take control of the buildings left in the city. One of Jacqueline's castles can be destroyed using Cannon Galleons as it is fairly close to the sea.

It gives 3 relics but took too much time. There should be 40 points for this.

FOR THOSE THAT PREFER A QUICK "GET TO THE POINT" GUIDE
This takes place during the 5th mission.
Step 1: Quickly build a navy. Focus on Fire ships first and try to upgrade them to fast fire ships ASAP.
Step 2: Build 5+ Cannon Galleons. They will make short work of enemy buildings.
Step 3: Once you have a navy focus on destroying the 3 lumber mills and destroy them. Doing so will make Humphrey an Ally until you attack him. Keep in mind he MUST be destroyed for the achievement to count and not just an ally.
Step 4: If your navy is still strong enough, destroy one of Jaquelines Castles in Her northern-most city. Doing so captures the city for you and now you no longer have to worry about any enemy ships attacking your base from the water.
Step 5: Build a base on Humphreys Island. Hes still an ally and wont attack. You can use the time to build up an army, trebuchets and strategically place castles. Once youre ready open up the diplomacy and set him back to enemy.
Step 6: Once Humphrey is taken care of focus on capturing the small cities and the rest of J's castles. Remember you just have to take out her castle with trebuchets to capture a town, no need to waste time destroying towers and buildings.

A Second Hastings
Wiped out Humphrey's base before defeating Jacqueline in "The Hook and Cod Wars".
It's simple, I recommend two phases; In the first one you must focus for the first 10 minutes on wood and gold that will be south of your initial base to be able to create ships (a fleet of 15-20 galleons) and go as fast as possible to the enemy docks that will be crossing the channel If I remember correctly, they must be around 6 divided into two areas, concentrate on the one closest to your base; once you destroy it, start creating a land army consisting mainly of horsemen or knights + monks, as well as siege weapons (especially 1-2 trebuchets) to be able to take a beachhead in the area closest to your base.
From here on phase two, invade England and with the support of the galleons clean the area of the military buildings and enemy units, once with the clean area transport a couple of villagers and build stables to increase your army and advance head east clearing every building that can create units, usually the red player will only create crossbowmen and long-range archers so it shouldn't be that much of a problem against your cavalry.
Important:
At your base with your starting army (and if you can reinforce it with pikemen or knights) protect your southern flank because the green jeweler will constantly attack with heavy cavalry and other minor units; Since it is located in areas very close to the water, the same galleons can serve to protect your base and your ports from the red player during the first minutes of the game.
Important 2:
To avoid having the same problem as Tarvu, make sure you are connected to the game's online services to unlock the achievement, if it doesn't unlock it, save your game, return to the main menu and connect, reload the game and that's it; I hope I can serve you.

I didn't have a problem unlocking it?

You don't even have to rush it - take your time and set up your forces, have a good defense against green
Then build up a fleet and transport ships and wip out red - if they changed to ally because you destroyed their trading camps - simply change them back to enemy!
The achievement will unlock once you finish the mission though, not immediately

Before completing the mission you must have wiped out the English. They occupy the landmass in the top-left of the map, across the English Channel from you.
It is not enough to simply defeat them. When that has happened and they turn ally, you must designate them as an enemy and continue to wipe them out.
The achievement should pop when the mission ends.

A small nuance, without which you will most likely not receive the achievement, even if you fulfill the conditions in the description.
Yes, you must first demolish the British base on the northern island. Although the Hook mini-bases can also be freed. In general, the point is that after the destruction of all Humphrey’s castles, the British automatically enter into an alliance with us. And if you just continue to finish off castles Allegedly, then there will be no achievement. It is necessary, having entered the remaining British buildings in the north, to change diplomacy from peace to war, and finish off all the buildings, having received notification of their defeat. And then continue to clean the card in any order.
