How to unlock the Are You Not Entertained? achievement in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide
This achievement will take a bit of micromanaging and splitting of your attention to snag but can consistently be done around 9:00 with the following strategy.
- Right off the bat send your scout northeast to get that camp and your swordsmen to the camp just northwest of your base. You should queue a few villagers and start mining the gold to the west of the bridge (I liked 3 on gold) and then put about 6 or so on food. You can leave the one villager on wood.
- Next step is to take that army the scout acquired and wipe out that little base the Rebel Raiders have just southwest of the Roman Legions you just acquired. Make sure you protect the scorpion a bit, it's quite good. While this is going on, have the cavalry from the other legion go to the last legion to the far northwest. You should also start moving the swordsmen and legion to the direction of the raiders northwest base. Back home upgraded from the storage pit for infantry (damage and defense) and my short swordsmen to broad swordsmen in the barracks.
- With the eastern base destroy (make sure you also take out the granary), move those troops to the west of the raiders main base. Your main force of legion and swordsmen should be descending upon that western base. You need to make sure you clear it out good. This means military bases, town center, and all major buildings except for houses. When this is destroyed, transition this army directly to blue's western gate.
- At this point you should be somewhere around 00:08:00 on the clock. If you are here with more time, you've got time to send more troops over if you want. If you are pushing 00:08:00 then it's time to just rush.
- Troops right to the gate and knock it out. Then make a beeline right for the town center. If you wiped the other two bases completely, once the TC falls, the enemy will fall and the achievement will be yours.

Easy way:
Send your first horse to the top left yellow and bring them close to the west rebel camp (blue), once he gets to the first yellow troops (crossing the bridge) take this new horse and send it to the top right yellow camp and start to destroy the mini blue base, try so save the scorpion.
Update broad sword and some armor, build 2 gold camps.
West rebel camp (blue) Destroy TC + 2 food stock + 2 tower (optional I guess)
March back to the mini blue base should be destroyed at this time.
keep creating broad swordsman and send them to the mini blue base as a wait point.
Then get all the troops and destroy the gate > TC > towers > villagers as well.
Achie pops up.
Bye

Really good, detailed solution, but unfortunately this didn't work for me--I cleared out the eastern base (including the granary), the western base (everything but the houses), and then the town center but Saturninus didn't resign. :( There must be a second resignation condition which I didn't trigger.

Console version: unlocked this today. I did use the original guide here but there are differences seemingly between console and PC and I found the guide lacking personally for the console edition at least (cannot comment on PC).
Set game speed to SLOW
There are 3 blue bases you need to destroy. One is a tiny camp consisting of a barracks, tower and some troops. This is located to the east of your starting base.
One is a medium size base with no walls, which is to the North West of your starting base.
The final and most challenging is a large walled base which is to the north East of your starting base.
You start with 6 infantry and one scout. Visible on your map will be 2 yellow forces to the north east. Immediately send your scout to the closest and then the furthest. These will convert to your forces on contact. Research broadsword and build some villagers (I set the resourcing AI to balanced).
Send your starting troops and the troops from the closest yellow group to the small camp on the right, you need not micromanage as they will win easily. Whilst doing that, grab the forces from the furthest yellow group and send them to the medium sized base with the cavalry. Due to having 6 phalanxes here they will make mincemeat of the troops and towers. With a bit of guidance this small force will take out that base no problem. MAKE SURE you kill the villagers and destroy all unit producing buildings. Once you have destroyed the troops and towers and can leave them to it start building broadswords, get your troops from the small camp to the left of the last base and start to muster your forces.
Once you have around 20 troops this will be enough to deal with the troops in the base. They will sally out when you approach, try and pin them at the gates so you can move straight in and then let them do their work. Once troops are dealt with, take out the towers then concentrate on the town centre, villagers and then military buildings. I got the notification that the rebels were destroyed at 09:20 after destroying the town centre and killing the last villagers.
Make sure difficulty is on standard. This is not an overly taxing achievement.
