Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition

Rajendra Campaign, Mission 3.

This is still a work in progress to get the exact requirements, I'm thinking it might vary depending on the objectives and mission status.
Apparently you can win with Grey, Orange, and Purple all still alive, but not with Blue, Green, Teal(Light Blue), or Yellow alive.

Simple solution update from Elyoh in the comments: ""A simplified solution: Only You (Red), Sri Lanka (Orange) and The Chola Empire (Grey) should be alive when you achieve your 10th prestige."" Thanks!


This quickly turns into a slog of a mission having to defeat all enemy factions instead of just getting all the easy prestige points!

There are quite a few objectives that pop up after the first small part of the mission, I'm not sure why different ones pop up, they seem slightly random, completing each will give you a "Prestige point".
5 Prestige points unlocks Imperial age researching, 10 Prestige points wins the game!

The objectives that I know of:


I don't know of any other objectives.
Choose carefully which ones you are going to do. There are at least 3 objectives to destroy enemies, possibly a 4th or even 5th to destroy Srivijaya and Sri Lanka, although I haven't seen those.

In my game I defeated everyone except orange Sri Lanka and grey Chola, and the 'teal?' starting area. I'm not sure who they were.
I defeated blue(after they got angry, I just sent a lot of ships over there and wiped them out)
Yellow(wiped them out twice, they're mean and ally with the big northern enemy after wiping them out once)
Green pirates(after I got my big navy going, I just sailed over and wiped them out in a matter of minutes)
Purple(they were an ally, then they switched to enemy, so I wiped them out without killing the castle)
And Teal in the north, the big enemy--wiped them out completely up north without killing the docks in the west, they only resigned after I killed their castle in Purple's area though.

A huge help was putting a dock up near Purple after Green was dead--I had 30+ trade boats going with Sri Lanka's dock on the south end of their island and had a TON of gold so resources were never an issue at that point.

The achievement pops after the mission.

As a word of warning, don't leave the Bengali Pirates for last. They can't be defeated until after you build a castle in the marked area on the north of their main island, as they'll have ships spawn constantly at the edges of the map. I was able to get it to pop anyway, as once I built the castle they resigned, but to be safe I'd try to do them earlier. Or, avoid doing things like taking the relic so you can build the castle and then destroy their last ships.

For reference, I captured Yellow first (+1 Prestige), then defeated them when they switched back (+2), then Vengi/Purple (+3), the Chalukyan docks (+4), Chalukya (+5), Srivijaya/Blue (+6), then captured the relic (+7) and built the castle on the Pirate/Green island (+8). This combined with the auto ones for making an alliance with the trade cart people and having Sri Lanka under your control and put me at 10 which ended the game as all factions were defeated.
