To inspire a rebellion in the "Roger in Sicily" mission you must collect a relic with a monk and place it in the monastery outside of either the red (“Prince Ayyub Zirid”) or the cyan (“Prince Ali Zirid”) camp.
The simplest way to go about doing this is collecting a relic that is on an island at the northern most part of the map and taking it to the monastery outside of the red camp.

- At the beginning of the mission choose to “Ignore Ibn al-Hawwas’ demands” and put all your troops into your transport ships (blue). Take them directly left across the river and drop them off.
- You will now need to gather more troops by finding their locations on the map in order to kill the prince at the green camp and take it over. The best path to take for this is shown in the video below.
- After gathering enough troops, enter the green camp from the northeastern most entrance and focus on killing the prince to take over the camp.
- Create a monk with the monastery in your camp. Use the transportation ships you begin with to take the monk to an island at the northern most part of the map to collect the relic that is there (keeping to the right as much as possible to avoid enemy ships) and bring the monk back to your camp.
- Take your army over to the monastery (which is directly west of your camp) and destroy the tower beside it.
- Take your monk carrying the relic and place it in the monastery outside the red camp.

The aim of this mission is to kill the 5 emirs and princes, thus capturing their cities. A side objective begins part way through the mission explaining that you can incite a rebellion in two of the cities - Prince Ayyub Zirid (Red) and Prince Ali Zirid (Teal) by bringing a Relic to their monasteries. There are 3 relics in the mission - One just North of the Teal base, one just South of the Yellow base and a third on an island in the North. Just bring one to one of the monasteries, located outside of their respective cities and the achievement will trigger. This brings some of their units under your control, weakening their defence. The achievement triggers at 12:36 in this video. You may just need to take care with your Monk around the Red Monastery as there is an enemy tower next to it.
