How to unlock the Huna Join Me? achievement in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide
This achievement is earned in the Devapala campaign, 3rd mission titled Renunciation. It requires you use monks to convert all three Huna Khans.
Start off by defending against a Hunas attack from the northern bridge. After repelling the horsemen it's time to boom and start moving. The reason why we need to push the pace a bit here is that the city in the center of the map, the Multan, possess relics and will initiate a relic victory around 10 minutes into the game. While booming your economy (pump out vills and start gathering tons of resources) head to your market and make sure to grab coinage as this will be used later.
Now we are going to make our first move on a Khan. We will work our way clockwise around the map. First Khan is the easiest and will be our first target. I took some of my Ratha and attacked the tower closest to the bridge to provoke the forces in the base. With them drawn out I pulled them across the bridge up near my town center where I ambushed them. I then took my two armored elephants and used them to grab aggro from the towers while my monks walked in behind and converted the first Khan. This is my strategy for all 3 Khans. Bring cannon fodder in first and let the monks walk in behind.
SAVE HERE. Good place to be safe.
With the first Khan under our belt we will receive a proposal to join forces with Pratiharas (red) found at the bottom of the map for the sum of 1,000 gold. If you boomed, it's time to upgrade to imperial. Now head back to your market and purchase banking. When that goes through drop the 1,000 gold off to Pratiharas to earn an ally who does surprisingly well at drawing attention of Khans.
At this point I moved my force (and monks) at the bridge leaving the first Khan and moving north. I built two trebs so I could knock down the monastery in Multan and end the chances of losing to a relic victory. In my scenario I needed to move my monks (and cannon fodder) to the western Khan because Pratiharas was pressuring a bit too much. To supplement, I built some archers to keep my trebs company until the bulk of my force came back.
SAVE HERE. We now have two of the three Khans converted and the relic victory squashed.
The last Khan is quite pesky. He builds forces quite quickly, although in our case this is not a bad thing. Between both Khans and Pratiharas they never attacked with enough forces to dent the castle or harm the Khan. I took this as a sign I had time to prep an even bigger force to take the top fortress. This is also a good point to build a monastery and get faster moving monks and conversion distance to be able to grab the Khan from outside the gates.
When I was ready I sent the boys in to take the castle's attention and the forces he massed. I then snuck the monks (had 3) underneath it all and they grabbed the Khan in seconds unlocking the achievement and ending the mission. You could also just treb the castle down and rush in although it is not necessary as the mission ends after the third Khan is converted or killed.

Honestly after reading this walkthrough, i thought it would be more dificult.
Just need to defend from the first attacksand after, little boom to reach imperial, upgrade monks(conversion range and speed)...make some elefants...put them infront...and convert the khans, the 3rd was even easier...there's a boat with a monk in the top north of the map, just need to land your monks in a little space ad convert the last khan.
btw i dd it on hard.

I earned this today in my first play through, on Hard. There are no special techs you need to convert the Khans- they aren’t building/siege/monks, so you’re good to go from the start. The only useful ones are the faster movement speed and the +3 range.
Personally I would skip hiring Red, as they didn’t help much in my playthrough and instead almost hurt when they rushed the far west Khan before I was really ready to get monks there.
The Khan directly west of you can be grabbed easily with your starting army and 2 monks, then boom up while protecting from occasional raids from the bridge to the north. Prepare to move against Blue to stop their relic victory - I took them down with 20-30 elephant archers and a couple trebs.
