If you go for the other Achievements, this one will come naturally.
No need to build tons of Fields. Just play like you normally would and build some Farms (5-10), also build a Mill and click on the "rebuild automatic"-Button on the right site.
If you wanna speed it up, dont do the upgrades for the Farmes! Because the less food they give, the more often they need to rebuild.
For me, the chevo came, while i was in mid game of the 6th campaign. And i have allways done the upgrades.

Based on my tracking it, replanting farms seems to actually not count towards your total. It seems that only the first planting of a farm counts.

Looks like the automatic rebuild counts for this again. It popped when a farm was auto built. I had no tracking for the achievement though.

This will come naturally as you play the campaign as farms are the standard way of getting food. It's good practice to have, say, 10 or 12 as a minimum on all levels, but probably want more like 20-25 to really boom your economy.
