Killed all enemy commanders before defeating their hordes in "The Tatar Yoke".
After reclaiming the downtown city, focus your economy to produce food and gold, there are too many sheep in the vicinity (explore well) and start creating stables to produce horsemen; improve them and gather a good amount (at least 25) leave the rest of your unmounted units defending the city and march to each of the places where the leaders are (there are 3) there should not be much opposition and they will fall easily, if you lose many Replace units before going for the next leader.
Important: eliminate the 3 leaders first, and start destroying the hordes once all three leaders are dead.
Tip. Do not forget the blacksmith's improvements and look for the relics, there is one to the east, after crossing the river and guarded by some mounted archers, and another in the north corner of the map (Lithuanians have +1 Attack for each Relic you own).
Do all of this before eliminating each of the players.

For clarification, is the goal to kill 3 commanders and then 3 hordes, or each commander followed by their respective horde? I did the former and didn't get the achievement, so just clarifiying if my game just bugged or if I did it wrong!

The achievement popped a day later on it's own accord, so the game is just a bit buggy at the moment. For anyone else who wants clarification, I killed all three generals first THEN started killing off the "hordes".
