How to unlock the Ur Out of Here achievement in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide

Easy achievement. Wonder will spawn at Ur (Purple).

You have plenty of time to boom your economy before they start constructing it.
The city is almost defenseless. Red cavaliers will be the issue here. When I attacked, my army consisted of 30 camel riders (with storage unit upgrades and the Government Center upgrade which gives more HP to camels).
Use your market to sell stone and wood for gold because you don't have many gold mines early. Build several stables (I had 4) so that you can get your army faster.

Once you've got your camels ready, attack from East, deal with the few Red units, then focus villagers. Once Purple villagers are dead, it's pretty much over. A few survivors might try to build a new Wonder but it's hopeless. Ur quickly surrendered, I think they did when I destroyed the forum.

I really took my time to build my army, it was way overkilled and the Wonder was only 40% built when I got there.
Achievement unlocked at the end of the mission.

Yep, for the king I didnt use camel riders either. Anyway when the wonder is destroyed you have all the time you want to build up a suitable army!

This guide worked for me too. 'cyan' comes to aid in the fight too. Not enough pop_lim to set up the trade. Entering 'green' to kill orange was easier from the west gate (near cyan). Destroyed 8/10 farms as well.

The Camel Riders were great for attacking Ur itself, but I found them less useful for the attack on the enemy king. Since my economy was indeed booming--especially after razing the stables in the southeast part of the map, near the gold mines--I built several more Siege Workshops, upgraded to Heavy Catapults, and then brought them over to knock out the Guard Towers and Gates to the northwest of my original base. They eventually died, as did the Camels which were guarding them, but that was fine because I had built a number of Archery Ranges where I was steadily training a replacement force of Heavy Horse Archers, which easily danced into the enemy capital and sniped the enemy king right on his acropolis. [That was satisfying. :)]
