How to unlock the Wololo achievement in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide

WORKING Solution with newest patch[26.04.2020][custom scenario WON'T WORK]
Data Mod: Default
Game Mode: Random Map
Map Style: Special Maps
Location: Open Plains(because u are starting near enemy's base)
Map Size: Large
AI Difficulty: Standard or Easiest(I Played on Standard and they were coming very fast and rapdily)
Resources: Infinite
Population: 500
Game Speed: Fast
Reveal: All-Visible
Starting Age: Post Imperial-Age
Turbo Mode ON

Start a game, build around 7-9 Monasteries and SHIFT+CLICK to produce 15 each monastery, make some houses behind ur base, and start converting eache enemy.

I converted 95 in 19 minutes(in-game 2.0 speed, so in 10 minutes real time)(it's real pain in the... because u need to click on every unit like an idiot), save a game, delete everything and make urself lose. Go and check how many u converted in "Miliatry" Tab in ending game screen. Load ur save and repeat. I did it 10 times and got my self achievement in less than 15 minutes!(if u convert less than 100 u need to repeat this more) 10x = 100 = 1000

To clarify, you are loading the game AFTER everything has been converted? So upon loading you don’t convert anything else, just lose and load again and again?

Wanted to add on - instead of make yourself lose - you can just click resign. Reload, resign, reload, resign. This is after you save the game and have X amount of converted units. I did mine with 100 so I had to reload and resign about 10 times.

Confirming that this is probably the fastest way to get the achievement now. The Custom Campaign and Custom Scenario methods didn't work for me as of July 25, 2020. Not sure if I was getting partial conversion credit on those, but the Get Conversions, Save, Resign, Reload, Resign, etc. version worked with no question towards the math. +1

Just a note, instead of having to reload multiple times just press play again after you load the save the first time and it will continue right where you saved instead of all the loading screens +1

Also play as Aztecs best Monka Civ ingame, since they get HP on monks for each tech they do and they have all monk techs unlocked, pair this a few good team bonus ally Byzantines or Berbers and you be golden, but what you should deffo not do is play against Teutons for their Civ bonus to resist conversions and not play against a civ with Heresy (kills units when converted), it also helps to play against Vikings since they have terrible scouts, No Bloodlines (move speed on Cav) and no upgrade to Hussar (imp scouts), so they mostly will have land units or siege which you can greatly outrange with 14 range monkas

Got this achievement yesterday when reloading a save on Prithviraj #5 - The Legend of Prithviraj. At a guess, units that are converted via triggers still count towards the achievement, and the units were being recounted whenever I'd load a save. If that's the case, I'd recommend playing the level normally until you convert all 4 Rajas, then save and reload. Kite the enemy units away while you convert the Rajas, as their respective units are given to you upon conversion.

I'm sure this isn't the only scenario where units convert like this, but I figured I'd put this info out there for anyone who wants to get this without spending time in the scenario editor. If other people confirm this method, I'll rewrite this to be a bit less speculative.

Just tried this method, however i doesn't work (anymore?). I converted the first 3 Rajas and then resigned, end game results only show 3 conversions. Maybe it worked pre-patch sometime, now it doesn't unfortunately. Was worth a try tho ;)

Achievement just popped for me when I reloaded the first Hautevilles scenario. I made a save shortly after the scenario began and I had already gained control of some units that I didn't have when the scenario started. The units won't count as conversions in the post game statistics but there's definitely something behind the scenes that is making the units count as converted. This guide definitely has credence to it and it certainly still works as of the date of my comment.

First you will want to create a custom map. You will want to place a monk for yourself, change your starting age to the post imperial age, then for player 2 place a militia next to him, you will then want to copy the terrain around this and paste nearby, then copy the two sets and paste nearby again, once you do this a few times you should be able to quickly blanket cover the map with men, then save the map and add it to a custom campaign. After that go to campaigns and play the map, the game should win once every enemy is converted should take a few seconds and then the achievement should unlock, if not just check the stats screen for the number of conversions and if less than 1000, just play it again to get the rest.

The trophy is cumulative. I did this while I was playing through the campaign, since there the ability to convert powerful enemy units is very useful. Often in missions you have a limit on the number of units of 75-125, and circulation allows you to exceed this number. Convert cavalry (paladins), trebuchets, cannons and unique units.
If an enemy unit died instead of being converted (technology in the monastery), then such a unit still counts. I recommend making a group of 10 monks and, when attacking an enemy base, try to convert buildings that produce units
