Overall seetings:
map-type: mountain range (the one with only a small passage between the sides.
map size: mico or small
victory: your choice

If the challenge does not require you to kill any enemy units, you can do them in a game without enemy. Just Select skirmisch and start the game alone. But since there are achievments linked to winning games, I would recomment to add at least an easy AI enemy.
Tactics [If you are playing vs. hard and very hard AI]
Overall goal:
Choose Abasides as enemy faction and select Wonder+Landmark victory.
The AI tends to bunker of its Wonder and place nearly all its troops next to it. YOu can exlpoid this, if you just mass up a middle to big army and walk into its base via the backdoor to destroy its two landmarks (Abasides only have 2 landmarks, so this is the easiest in terms of targets to destroy. Try not to pass the wonders location with your army, since pulling theire aggro is the only way to fail this.
Early-game:
Select 2 of your workers and send them to the middle of the map to build a stonewall. This closes the gap and prevents the AI from rushing.
Meanwhile, build more workers. I like to build 10. the first one build is send of to a the closest corner of the map (on your side) and has to build 19+ houses using Q+Q and then queue them up with shift+left mouse.
This will max out your population cap.
The other workers are used to build archerys, stables and barracks. Building those in the middle allows you to produce closer to the enemy. First should be archery to defend the wall. Then you can basicly do as you please and use a combination that counters your opponents.
Dont forget to tech your units via foundrys and universitys, as well as to build artillery to get rid of buildings faster and most importantly to destroy enemy Keeps.

Tip of the Spear

Tactic:

Test of Strength I
Win a 1v1 Custom or Skirmish match against the Easy A.I.
Tactic:
Play. You win if you dont AFK for 10 minutes.
[Trivia: I wrote this guide playing a intermediate AI and had no problem AFKing for 3-5 minutes sets after the wall was build. So easy AI should be impossible to loose unwillingly]

Grazing Herds
Generate 3,000 Food from the Ranch.
Tactic:
1. Start 2nd age
2. Build Mills and 7 Ranches (You can build up to 20 cattle, so 7 ranches are more than enouth)
3. Produce cattle (in Mills) and let them enter the cattle (via right click)
4. You can speed it up with building the Grand Fulani Corral and the ranches around it. This building grands you extra food.

Barrage
Defeat 25 ranged units with Javelin Throwers.
Tactic:
0. Choose the English as enemy faction, since they tend to produce many archers in the early game. But any faction works.
1. Start 2nd Age or later.
2. Build Javelin Throwers.
3. Fight and kill 25 ranges units.
You are done. Now you can win the game to get progress on:

Healing Around
Research the Local Knowledge upgrade and when in stealth heal 500 of total health on your Musofadi Warrior units.
Tactic:
1. Start in 4nd age
2. Build many Musofadi Warriors (in barracks)
3. Attack the enemy
4. Pull back any damaged unit to your side of the map
[4.1 You can look at their health and count up the missing health of the pulled units till you accumilate 500 (more is always better/saver)
5. Use their stealth abillity to start the healing. Repeat till they are healed
6. Repeat 3.-5. till you are sure you got 500 HP restored.
You are done. Now you can win the game to get progress on:

Win a 1v1 Custom or Skirmish match against the Intermediate A.I.
Tacitc: Play. You should not need special tactics, but the one provided under "overall" youd help if you got trouble.

Toll Road
Gather 500 Gold from Traders passing by Toll Outposts
Tactic:
1. Start in 1st age.

3. Build some Trading posts. close by each other
4. Place their destination on the AIs. Trading post. (Grey building on the minimap)
5. Build Traiders from all off your traiding posts (the more the faster it is done)
6. Place watchtowers aka Toll Outposts on the way the traiders take toward the traiding post. The circle around them displays the raidius of the taxation. 5 should be sufficient, since the taxation is limited to 5 times per run.
[7. You can increase the effectiveness even more, if you destroy all your traiding post exept one. this way the traiders only use one straight line between the posts, wich makes it easier to place your tollposts. But with 100k ressources you can also just spam tollposts.]
You are done. Now you can win the game to get progress on:

All That Glitters
Produce 20 Donso units and 20 Musofadi Warrior units from the Farimba Garrison using only gold.
Tactic:
1. Start in 2nd age
2. Build the "Farimba Garrison" to level to 3rd age
3. Build "four" Donsos and "four" Musofadi Warriors. Each will spawn 5 units.

Upgrade Sofa Horsemen with the Imported Armor upgrade and kill 50 units.
Tactic:
1. Start 4th age
2. Build some stables
3. Research the upgrade
4. Build Sofa Horseman (and mass them up).
5. Kill 50 units

Tactic:
1. Start in 4rd age
2. Build archery-ranges
3. Research the upgrade
4. Build archers
5. Kill enemys/play normal with many archers in your army, so that you make sure to not have the kills take by other units. [This should be not problem. Just to make sure)

Construct the Fort of the Huntress and kill 40 units with Musofadi Gunners
Tactic:
0. Choose a Hard AI, since intermediate and easy dont build that many units and it takes longer to get it done.

3. Build Gunman (in your archery)
4. Kill 40 units

Throw all three festivals with the Griot Bara in Age IV.
Tactic:
1. Start in 3rd age
2. Build Griot Bara
3. Start a festival.
4. Let it and its cooldown run out.
5. Select another of the three festivals
6. Repeat 4.-5.

Test of Strength IV
Win a 1v1 Custom or Skirmish match against the Hardest A.I.
Tactic:
1. remember that you can change you unit composition to adapt to the enemy. Very hard AI tends to adapt to you after 1-2 attacks.
2. Play as stated in "overall" and wall off as fast as you can (2-3 workers going to the middle). Play aggressive with your first cavallery and kill of some workers. Mass up a force with cav+archers+bombardes/trebuchets.
If you keep building units endlessly from 6-10 buildings each and have your buildings close to the middle, you should always "out-produce" the AI, since it tends to only build from 2-3 buildings per unit type.
Kepp in mind, that 5-10 artillery units should be enouth.
3. Dont rush after the AI units, rather defend your slowly advancing artillery as they kill of his buildiungs. Prioritise Keeps with the artillery and units with your infantary and chavallery. Only attack buildings with your non-siege units if you got no enemys-units in sight/attack range.

Something to add for all of the ranged battles if you turn off all Victory modes and resources to maximum, starting age IV and then destroy everything except for the archery range the AI only builds ranged units. this makes it super easy.

I do challenge number 2 but I can not unlock it, yet I do the requested research and more than 20 kills with my donso on cavalry ... Any idea?
