How to unlock the Servants of the Land achievement in Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition - Definitive Guide
Seems there is a much fast way to get the achievement via a game bug.
Just select your landsknechtes and long press the delete button to kill them all, it also increases the number.
So all you need to do is starting with a largest map but only you in the game, gain as many resources as you can and recruit as many landsknechtes as you can, then kill them all.
Also this method works for another similar achievement:
It worked for me at version 5.0.7989.0, but it's not a guarantee that works for you every time.

Great solution!!! This will shave off tens of hours of grinding from the completion.

COOP BOOSTING METHOD
[approx. 1-2hrs / both people get achievement]
If you happen to find a buddy to boost this with create a game with ressources set to the maximum and starting age to IV. Map should be Dry Arabia and the smallest size for convenience which is called micro.
After you loaded into the game, build around 40-50x Barracks.
Each one of you two now creates around 20-30x Landsknechte and 2-3x Priests to heal the Landsknechte with.
The Landsknechte should be fully upgraded to make it easier while the fodder units we will be using to get the 10.000 kills should stay on their lowest upgrading level.
Those fodder units will be the Spearman.
Now Player 1 puts his Landsknechte+Priests on the top of the map while Player 2 does the same on the bottom. It's just important that the two groups are seperated enough.
Next select all Barracks [F1] and put the rally points for the units behind the OTHER players Landsknechte group. Its important that the rally point is not right on the group but a good chunk behind it so units walking there by themselves wont attack the Landsknechte while passing by and getting killed by them.
Next select the Barracks again and just spam Spearman [Shift+Q] or [Shift+LMB on unit] until both of you run out of ressources.
If the setup is done correctly the Spearman should walk right into the group of enemy Landsknechte and die trying to pass them (and never actually hit the Landsknechte) to reach their rally point which is located BEHIND the Landsknechte.
This will give the other player roughly 3 kills every second if done with 40 to 50 Barracks. So almost 1000 kills per 5 minutes.
Once you ran out of food just end the game and start a new one and repeat the process.
This method should give 2 people the achievement in less than 2 hours. If done with more Barracks possibly even below 1 hour! Happy boosting

Though straightforward, this achievement is time consuming. You may unlock it by simply playing with the Holy Roman Empire a lot and, in time, you will get to the 10,000 mark. Landsknechte are decent units that will get many kills in a game when accompanied by other unit types, anyway.
If you are looking for a single player alternative, there is a somewhat boring, less grindy way to reduce the time needed to unlock this. Considering that:
- Ordering Landsknechte to kill themselves (hold the SUPR key for a few seconds) will count as an enemy kill.
- Kills obtained in Skirmish with no other players/AIs will count as enemy kills.
- Kills made with upgraded Elite Landsknechte will not count as enemy kills.
- Confirmed to work as of January 18, 2022 (patch 10257).
Start a lobby as follows:
- You as the only player, playing Holy Roman Empire.
- Dry Arabia (for terrain simplicity).
- Maximum resources.
- Age II.
- Revealed map.
1. Send your starting villagers to build the Burgrave Palace in a big clear area. Start training around 15-20 villagers.
2. Build a ring of 45 barracks next to the Burgrave Palace, with enough space in the middle to set the Rally Point for your trained units (double click on the building to select them all and right click on the ground, same point for Burgrave Palace). Feel free to save all those buildings as a unit group.
3. Build a Blacksmith anywhere and research Military Academy (to speed up the training) and then Marching Drills (to speed up the movement of the units toward the Rally Point).
4. Click all your training buildings and hold Shift + E for as long as your resources or the queue limit allow in order to train hundreds of Landsknetche in one go. With every trained "wave", you should get exactly 50 units that automatically move to the Rally Point. I found this useful for traceability as Steam achievements with progress bars are stilled bugged with 0/0.
5. Now simply double click on any of the grouped Landsknechte and hold the SUPR key to kill them all. Do this every time you are nearing the population limit of 200.
6. Remember NOT to upgrade to Elite.
If you set up the mass production correctly, you will soon run out of gold, even when starting with the maximum resources setting. While your units are trained, you can use your villagers to get more gold (and eventually food): build markets + around 20 traders, upgrade the gold extraction as much as possible and sell your unused wood and stone if you want.
Also train 2-3 prelates to inspire your villagers, gather the relics and capture the Sacred Sites.
You can finish the game with a Sacred Victory when you see you are exhausting your resources or when you get bored. In around 20-30 minutes you should have between 1800 and 2500 kills (you can check under Statistics > Military > Killed after the match) depending on your efficiency. I did this twice after having played games normally to try to beat the Mastery Challenges and unlocked the achievement.
EDIT: You could use a similar strategy for the related achievements (these would take less as the kill count is 1000 instead): "Big Shot", "Shifting Winds", "Move Like Wind, Attack Like Fire".
