How to unlock the Swift Site achievement in Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition - Definitive Guide

This achievement can be obtained very easily.

From the main menu, select single player -> Skirmish -> Create Game.

From there, go to the game setup tab and set starting resources to high and starting age as Age II. Select "Revealed" for the map state. I am not certain if sacred win condition must be selected, but I had it checked in my game.

Go to the map setup tab, and change the map to anything that is not separating chunks of the map with water. I chose "Nagari".

Now, on the left side of the screen, make sure you select your race as the Holy Roman Empire. Add three additional AI players. Their race does not matter. Set yourself and two of the AI players to Team 1. Set the last AI player to Team 2. Set your allies AI difficulty to hardest, and the enemy AI difficulty to easy.

Now, you are ready to start the game. Once the game starts you should have several villagers. Select them all and immediately have them start building your landmark which will get you to age III. The landmark you choose does not matter. Immediately after this, select your town hall, and start building a Prelate. This is a religious unit that can start converting sacred sites once Age III hits.

Now, look on the mini map. You should see lots of different icons since the map is revealed. Look for a black and white Circle with an "X" through it. This is a sacred site. Immediately once your prelate finishes building, send them to the nearest sacred site. Make sure they are inside the white radius of the sacred site, and the moment your villagers finish building their landmark, your prelate should begin capturing the sacred site, and the achievement should pop up shortly thereafter. Your two AI allies should make short work of the enemy to finish the match if you want to finish out the rest of the match without quitting.

I did this on the King Of The Hill map (one site).

Followed directions, but moved all villagers that spawned in and Prelate to the middle of the map, were the site is. Starting building age 3 building, as soon it was done moved Prelate to site. Was done in less then 5 min.

I think sacred win needs to be selected. I tried this twice on conquest only and couldn't get it to unlock.

I can confirm that you need to have sacred victory selected in order for the cheevo to pop.

Can confirm Sacred Victory needs to be on. However, you don't have to stay to finish the match. Simply surrender after the chivo pops. Can also do with AI on the same team, with no enemy.

You can just start a skirmish on your own. There is no need to have any AI
