How to unlock the The Mongol Empire achievement in Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition - Definitive Guide
The Mongol Empire campaign features 9 various missions where you will play as the Mongols. To unlock this achievement you will need to beat them all on any difficulty. The 9 missions include the following:
1. 1223 The Battle of the Kalka River
2. 1213 The Great Wall
3. 1215 The Battle of Zhongdu
4. 1240 The Siege of Kiev
5. 1241 The Battle of Liegnitz
6. 1241 The Battle of Mohi
7. 1267 The Song Fortress
8. 1268 Blockage at Lumen Shan
9. 1273 The Fall of Xiangyang
After you go past the victory screen on mission 9 the achievement should unlock.
If you have loaded a save during the campaign it may have bugged your achievement from unlocking. Replay the final level once more by pressing restart and completing it without using saves/loads.
Make sure to acquire the Mongol-based achievements during this campaign such as:
Twinkle Hooves (Don't lose any Mangudai during the Battle of the Kalka River)
Mission 1
Yeah, Well, You Should See the Other Guy (Lose a unit to the Front Gate of Zhangjiakou during the Great Wall mission)
Mission 2
Forgot a Batu (Kill double the enemies as Batu when assaulting the bridge in the Battle of Mohi)
Mission 6
Boom Boom Pao (Don't lose any Huihui Pao during the Fall of Xiangyang) Mission 9
The other four Mongol-based achievements can be unlocked in skirmish/online matches by grinding. They include:
Raiding Party (Raid an enemy building in the Dark Age (I) as the Mongols)
Jagutu-iin Darga (Enhance 100 units with a single Khan Signal Arrow as the Mongols)
Long Live the Khan (Win a match without your Khan being killed as the Mongols)
Explore, Expand, Exploit (Accrue 10,000 Stone in a single match as the Mongols)
Master of the Mongols (Complete the Mongol Mastery)
Hope this guide helps. Cheers!

Well, I would love to complete the Mongol campaign, if only the game would stop crashing the second the troops enter the city…
Edit: Seems to be a common bug, juging by many messages on the forums.
