This game is incredibly vague in what to do. You will be able to get this one about 10-18 hours in depending if you've figured out the quest systems.
You will need to be where the first planet is attacked and raining hell fire upon you.
The Mirrows will give you this quest in the Sub base.
Items needed
1)Mecha Wyrm
Location: Mirrow Sub base, surgical station, left of the 2 Mirrow or make your own surgical station by buying a blueprint off the Mirrows
Mecha wyrm needs the following
1 Wyrm
1 Silicon
2 Uranium
9 Steel Bars
2)Evolution stone
Location: East Island after defeating The Old One
Evolution stone needs the following
1 Fire gem
1 Water gem
1 Earth gem
1 Plant gem
1 Ice gem
Once you have the above items, select the Evolution gem in your inventory with A, select "Transform", select the Mecha Wyrm and PRESTO.
You will need to be where the first planet is attacked and raining hell fire upon you.
The Mirrows will give you this quest in the Sub base.

This is simply not true. You can be offered this as a Quest,- Once you create the Mobile Research Lab and invite Mirrows on board and craft an Evolution Gem they will tell you about it and offer you the quest as seen below.

While that is one way to craft an Evolution Gem A more cost-effective way is to use 5 evolution shards. There are 5 in the rocks under the Elder Dragon on the starting world and you can find them mining on certain planets/biomes as well.Elder Dragon: https://ibb.co/jwzbYDN

If you choose to recruit The Alchemist on to the Mobile Research Lab he will add evolution shard to the Research Lab and you can mass produce them with time being the only resource used.

You don't need the mirrows at all, as long as you have access to one of their surgical stations. Evolution stones can also be made with five shards which can be found deep underground in the magical islands.
