Once you have progressed far enough with the Alchemist you will meet him on East Island. Using various elemental gems you will create a Forge with the Fire gem and be able to create various items from blueprints. This however isn't one of them.
You will first need the Chainsaw which you can make at Sunset Island. As you progress you will eventually get this.
You will need you bring the following items to the Forge and place them in the right pane of the crafting menu.
In the crafting menu where it says "None" select
1 Chainsaw (See above)
In the 5 squares place the below items
1 Bloodgem (Found under the Forge on East Island)
1 Fire tusk (Dropped from Fire Boars, found on east Island or Divide Island)
VIOLA! Done. Fire chainsaw is super effective against trees.
You will first need the Chainsaw which you can make at Sunset Island. As you progress you will eventually get this.
