Matched games count as ANY game involving other real people. Coop or PvP both count, Coop is probably the better method as it's faster and if you're boosting both people can get the extra XP for winning. If you use good gear, you can finish games in about a minute.

Any game that is not solo is considered a matched game. A completed game is one where you finish, win or lose. You simply cannot quit. You will need to win 300-500 games to get up to level 30, so this will come without trying.
