How to unlock the Serious Competitor achievement in AirMech Arena - Definitive Guide

Hey guys, Here is the quickest method to winning 200 matches.

This can be done in 2v2 or 3v3 co-op.

You and your partners should have the following:

Pilot - Ultimate Samson (25% more damage)
Ultimate Fuel (66% Faster Unit Building) (Bought in Player Shop or w/ VIP ticket)
Ultimate Buckys - High Damage and Great Speed
3x Cakes (Optional but good for cake achievement)

Once done, build your Buckys and send them. Easy as that. Watch the video for reference and please leave a like if it helped you! My fastest run was 26 seconds with 3 people! :)

Note - I did all of this by purchasing the $9.99 starter pack. You can use extra diamond on 3x xp bonus per match. It is 150 diamonds per match but really helps. You should have plenty left over if you did the same as me.

FYI, Solo Custom games against the AI count as "matched" games as well.

^But solo custom games do not award XP after the 10th one so they are a waste. You are better off slugging through co-op, and if the connections are that bad, working through the rest solo for XP.

Is there any other way to get this easily without spending real money on the game?
Thanks for the guide anyway!

If you use Erik then you finish the match 30 seconds to a minute later due to less damage, making it much slower for 5% xp.

Completing 200 matched games means ANY game mode that involves other human players--Coop or PVP.

Not Recommended but faster: The absolutely fastest method is starting up a custom pvp with a boosting buddy, and one person quits out. The quitter gets no XP, but it's way faster than actually playing against AI in Coop! Watch the achievement tracker to make sure it counts depending on when you quit out though. I don't recommend this though because you'll have to play more coop games anyway to get to level 30--you don't get much XP for custom matches.

Recommended: The fastest coop method I've found used Ultimate Jackals, Ultimate Samson, Ultimate Fuel, and the map Twin Peaks. Spam Ultimate Jackals until the timer runs out, then sit and watch the fun! Just over a minute per match.
If you find randoms, this will work as well, although a lot of randoms quit as soon as you start spamming Jackal's or Buck's. LOL. Doesn't matter, you'll win and it counts. Some randoms love it though and will race you for the kill. Don't forget to equip XP and gold VIP boosts if you can...

Those Ultimates will cost a bunch of Diamonds, around 4500-6000, so you might want to settle for the regular versions until you have enough Diamonds to buy them, or you could buy the $9.99 Starter Pack which I recommend--the games free after all, and it's a lot of fun! You can get more Diamonds by completing quests, or possibly selling items on the player market.

It's easy to boost with 1 or 2 friends in a co-op game there against the AI. The host immediately sets the easiest difficulty to “training”, invites friends and everyone choose the dust card, the very first one, it is the smallest and easiest. In advance, buy infantry “shooter” from the store; it has a large attack radius and also hits airborne units. And all the time you build only these soldiers, take them and land them by holding down the up arrow, they take them all out in a bunch and capture all the bases (on average, 1 battle takes 2:40, my record is 2:15) Beware of opponents only stealth and fighters, 1 bombing drains your entire horde 2 mows down everyone with a sword and you won’t have time to drain it since it raises lvl 3 in a couple of seconds. Here it is better to launch several of the cheapest tanks as a distraction.

Twin Peaks is a good map, we played with two people and completed it in 1 minute. 40sec. (record 1:20)
Build tanks and bring them immediately to the enemy’s main base (from above).
Shoot down other people's Aerobots while protecting tanks.
And immediately, in battle, build new ones (through the bottom panel).
As soon as you take out the other people's airbots, fly after the tanks.
Continue to protect them. Shooting at someone else's base.
