Extremely simple to get.
In the first minutes of playing you shoot some skulls and some tadpole like bugs.
The skulls move vertical, the tadpoles move horizontal.
Some stationary tadpoles (they stick in the ground) fire back at you. In the alcove where the second tadpole fires from a treasure chest can be seen. Shoot that. Die and retry. Repeat this 9 more times for all remaining "open 2, 4, 6 and 8 chests" achievements.

You don’t need to shoot the skulls that move vertically, only the stationary tadpoles. Also you can just quit to the main menu and start again instead of dying each time.

….if you go a little further after the first chest, there is a second. Then quit to menu. So you need on 5 times to do it. I found this quicker….

There's a chest less than a minute into the beginning. Shoot and open it then quit and repeat 10 times
