How to unlock the Lawman achievement in Alan Wake 2 - Definitive Guide

This is a scripted event when you return to Cauldron Lake the 2nd time near the end. Use your flashlight and the focus mode (RB) to make him flinch. Aim and shoot for the head when you can and red spots(Source) on his body for more damage. Follow the linear path and when the storm comes make sure you run away. Try and find loot boxes as you are fighting Nightingale. They are scattered on the path but can be hard to see.

It can make it easier to shoot him enough times to make him temporarily vanish - at least that gives you extra time to pick up supplies
