Anyone know if the coffee world commercial is fixed yet?

It isn't, started a new game and rushed till beginning of chapter 3 just to get it done and still it isn't registering (the casette is not unlocking either so it can't be watched through mind place)

Last achievement I need for completion, please let me know here when it's fixed. I'll do the same if I notice it fixed or hear anything. Annoying I spent my holiday trying to have this game completed before I go back to work. Great game though.

I’m also holding off on finishing the game until coffee world is patched. Can anyone confirm if you have a manual save just before that and reload it after completing the game if it will unlock the achievement?

Had a manual save kept specifically for this purpose, didn’t unlock the achievement when I went back to it after finishing the game (had collected the other 5 in my playthrough).

What a bullsh**... I spent so many hours being patient and collecting everything just to realize now that I cannot complete the game... I have a save just before point of no return for Saga (chapter 7?)... shame...

Yea hopefully they patch it to ignore coffee world since everyone should have it eben though its bugged

The question is, from a technical perspective, is there any way/workaround to increase the % for everyone in order to enable the achievement, WITHOUT getting the actual god dammed collectible again?
I am asking because I am already at the end of the game (one or two more chapters to go) and I do not see any way how to backtrack... and my progress is showing 66% (3/5 TVs), with only one left to go... although I legitimately took it but it was not counted...

My last achievement in the game, I can see on the "recently winners" that people are unlocking this. How are they doing that?

It must not glitch up for everyone, been my last achievement needed for completion since Thanksgiving weekend. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon, probably next update sometime this month.

New update has fixed the bug, if you have already watched this TV ad, it will automatically be added. Go to Saga mind space and check the television. Coffee World is now available

Can also confirm it's now fixed - I reloaded a save just before the Coffee World ad and watched it again - this time the tape appeared in the bottom left of the screen to show it. I also had it on a point of no return save - my achievement didn't pop instantly but I think this was due to Xbox Live issues - it unlocked once I went into All Achievements and selected Alan Wake 2 after watching the ad again in the Mind Space.

OK great, it's fixed. Achievement didn't pop on screen but it unlocked and game is complete.

Can also confirm loading my "point of no return" save did not trigger the achievement, even though I had all 6 commercials at Saga's TV. Had to reload my manual chapter 3 save, re-watch the commercial, and got it with no issues.

@WaPeR32 The article mentions collectibles, so it should work to get the items you missed: Alan Wake 2 update makes completing Xbox achievement list easier

@WaPeR32 this one did not pop for me using chapter select and re-doing the last commercial during "Deerfest". The "Writers Journey" achievement; however, did pop as soon as I entered the level. I was missing 1 of each if that helps.

Is there an easy way to tell which ones I’m missing all together ? Depending on which chapter I load up it shows different commercials and my counter randomly jumped from 50% to 83% so I have no idea how to tell which commercials I’m missing without going back and trying to get them all

@jdogbits Do you see them in the menu? Collectibles should be listed there.

Is there anyway to see them in the main menu instead of the mind place ? Because every time I use chapter select the commercials that it says I have are different

Can confirm that the chapter select works. I missed the first commercial, selected Return 1 through chapter select and watched the commercial- Achievement popped right after watching.

I can't get Coffe World to register. Even tried reloading an older save. According to posts on Reddit it stopped registering after the 12-update from yesterday. Guess I need to play something else while they patch it

@BiGG DaDDy T5 I didn't tested it but this other solution mention that starting the game again and getting the missing item unlocks the achievement: Solution for The Trail of the Writer In Alan Wake 2

@alladaskill17 I have only one commercial left to watch, the latest but I don’t know which chapter should I pick to try this way.
The other achievement I missed (obtain all weapons) popped as soon as I loaded one of the latest chapters

@WaPeR32, what I tried for my last commercial did not work. But I loaded "Deerfest", the second option on the right, which spawns you on the lake's beach. You have to make your way to the car, drive back to town, and walk into the diner. But again, it did not work for me as I expected (and as the last Writing Journal achievement & your weapon achievement did upon loading). Still trying :/
