How to unlock the Gunless Wonder achievement in Alan Wake Remastered - Definitive Guide
This may seem daunting at first, but it's actually pretty simple once you know the basic strategies. I did this via episode select, which I would recommend, since you can set the difficulty to Easy right from the start. On Easy you'll get a TON of flares and flashbangs.
As the description says, you can't fire off a single gun the entire level up until you get about halfway down the boardwalk/bridge at the very end where you face off against the tornado. This means you CANNOT use any guns, including the flare gun. You CAN use flares and flashbangs, as well as the large circular lights (the ones you can manually aim and boost), as well as the lights on cars. If you accidentally shoot a gun, just reload your last checkpoint.
If you follow these basic steps, you'll make it to the end pretty quickly. The achievement will pop during the last boss fight, when you're about halfway down the path that leads to it.
1. Hoard flares and flashbangs, naturally. Use them primarily as means of escape when enemies are closing in and you need to get some distance.
2. Run, run, run. If you see a light in the distance, get there fast and drop a flare if needed to get that extra breathing room.
3. If you need to start a generator and an enemy is nearby, drop a flare in front of it. The light will protect you long enough to get the generator going.
4. Don't ignore all pick ups. There are a few spots where you can pick up an upgrade lantern, so make sure you grab that as a backup in case you happen to run out of flares or flashbangs.

Just wanted to add that you can die and it will still count if you keep playing, for some reason I had a hard time on the bridge with the machinery and kept dying

I had an unusual bug happen to me where the achievement unlocked but the notification did not pop up on the screen. Believing that I still had further to go, I foolishly tried to take on the final tornado with only my flashlight and not the flare gun. However, the achievement should unlock when you reach the tornado. Not after you defeat it.

Load up the first chapter in Episode 6 to tackle this badboy. You essentially have to flare and flashbang it all the way... NO flaregun, but do use the car and its headlights where possible. Death is pretty much a given as well, so don't worry about that.
So in short, use no weapon that requires you to press .

You can use flares (flares) and flash grenades. The main thing is not to shoot the weapon.

If you suddenly shoot by accident, you can restart the control point, the shot taken will be reset to zero.
