The mutation that gives you a shield can speed up this achievement a lot.
Just get the mutation (you can get it as a reward for finishing a mission) and if you can some hat that gives you more ability charges (it makes the shield last longer)
Now just use it while a minimech (the one that's like a mobile turret) is shotting at you or when you have a lot of enemies are shotting at you and you can get like 1000 damaged reflected.
As a side not you only need to deflected it doesn't have to do damage back
