Also note, if you start a new game, the name tags that you found already will be filled but the tags can be picked up again as they are placed in the same location.

In case you're stupid like me and have no idea to view collectables. You can check your total collectible progress at any time by pressing the back button, and using the bumpers to scroll through categories.

If I collect some ID tags and then die, do you have to collect them again?

gave negative because G.Spedding tag has incorrect location in this solution, and that was the only one I needed.

interesting message, so then tell us all what is incorrect? The location is correct, the text is correct, the link is correct, so please tell me what is incorrect and your problem.

After first playthru I have collected 65 % of tags. Can I collect remaining in mission 16 where there are no alien threat and I can roam freely? I really don't want to collect stuff while that fuc*er is lurking around...

This is really good to know about dying, and still having them, because that damn alien always seems to find me after I pick one up lol. Positive from me for that tidbit alone.

K. Lingard is there. It’s just out of order alphabetically, she’s right under D. Turner.

Here is a fantastic video from PowerPyx which will show you every ID location! :) Some of the collectibles can be easily found by replaying chapter 16 and effectively free roaming around the station, but for others you will have to replay the specific mission.

Do you know if your given credit for finding an ID tag even if you die or quit to menu before saving, similar to how the Nostromo logs work?

@ArkhmInmate0801 - you do get credit for them even if you die or restart a previous checkpoint. They will however persist in the environment allowing you to pick them up again if you want.

As above, and they count across multiple saves as well, so if you start a brand new game you will see all the ID tags you have collected :)

This seems to be the only guide for the tags at the moment but it's from a good source being PowerPyx.

There are 50 tags to collect in total.

The video also has timestamps which i have listed here but you can hit the youtube button on the video to go to the site and then in the description hit the show more button and you will be able to click them jumping to the specific tag if you are looking for one in particular.

You can tell which ones you are missing if you do miss any by pressing the touchpad on the controller then pressing R1 twice along to the log page showing you all the tags you have collected and are missing.

They will save even if you die so no need to go looking for them again if you do and there is chapter select also so if by the end of the game you are missing one or a few you can open up the log page i mentioned and check against the list below to see who you are missing as they are all named in the list and on the log page.

I have also posted a solution for
Alien: IsolationVoices of SevastopolThe Voices of Sevastopol trophy in Alien: Isolation worth 53 pointsCollect 100 archive logs
which actually shows you where all 3 kind of collectibles are, the ID tags, archive logs, and the 10 Nostromo logs.

I just finished the game and have like half of them.
Do you recommend getting them by chapter select or get the ones I missing + Nostromo logs + recipes on my no death run?

The guide i found else where suggested that it's better to go for the the collectibles using chapter select and going for chapter 16 if i remember correctly as by then you should have access to all areas and items needed to get to locked off areas such as the ion torch etc. That was including the Nostromo logs. But then again you could work your way to chapter 16 on your no death run and when you reach it try work on the logs and tags and once you have them all move on to the next chapters to get the final few on missions 17 and 18 continuing with your no death run at the same time. I personally think it would be a pain trying to not die and do all the collectibles at the same time because you are having to go the extra length to find this areas and could result in you ending up dying more easily because if you just do the no death run on it's own then you only have to do the quests that are required to get past each mission, add the collectibles though then you are having to do a lot more which means more time trying not to die.

Hope this helps you with your decision.

There all 50 ID Tags in total to collect throughout the game, they are saved automatically after being collected so don't worry if you die shortly afterwards. Most you will come across through normal play but if you miss any you can get them via mission select or during the free roam section where you can visit most of the ship in mission 16. All the tags have a different names so you can easily keep track of whichever ones you have missed. You can check which ones you have missed by using the on the PS4 and on the PS3 and comparing it to the screenshot in the spoilers:

You can use PowerPyx's fantastic collectible guide to find any of the ones you are missing:

You can follow his Guide here if you prefer a text version: Alien Isolation Collectibles - All ID Tags & Nostromo Logs

In order to see what tokens you found, you need to open the map and double-click on to switch to another tab. If you die, you don’t need to pick up the token a second time, it will be saved. Through chapter selection, you can pick up missing tokens at any time.

After completing the game completely, all missions are open, and Sevastopol can be explored almost freely on chapter 16 from the Lorenz technotower.

For example, you downloaded chapter 3, collected a token, saved, exited and loaded chapter 16. The chapter report does not come with the one you started, you can safely change them, the main thing is to save in the terminal when you pick up the token.

On your first playthrough, try to look into every corner. Then you'll save a lot of time.
