Story related and pretty much unmissable, You have to get this about two thirds of the way though episode one to go on to finish the mission.

I just want to add that it is possible to miss this achievement if you select "Reload Checkpoint" just at the checkpoint for when you encounter them.
I was trying to go back because there was a part I had not explored yet.
