When 1 if your marines takes enough damage they will become unconscious.
Press Y over their body and select the 1st option, usually 1st aid but has now become the carry option.
Press back button to bring up the map, select the nearest station to bring your APC or other vehicle as close as possible.
Move your squad to the vehicle and press Y to bring up the action menu and extract the entire squad.
