How to unlock the I Don’t Got All Night achievement in Alone in the Dark - Definitive Guide
The only thing I did differently when following along was the desert temple location as I had one worked out that I felt was smoother as I was used to it as well as the ending, as the 'What Just Happened?' ending skips the last boss fight (for this you need to do two playthroughs, one as Emily and one as Edward and complete the 'All the world's a stage' lagniappe set.
I'd also recommend playing the game a couple of times just to get a feel for the house and where the objectives are, even if you're following a video guide as it makes it a lot easier to track!
I'm not a speedrunner, but managed a 1h 30-minute playthrough with this as my helper on my third playthrough.
This is best attempted at Easy difficulty, as ammo is more plentiful and monsters are weaker. Skip cutscenes (as these count towards your time) and try to spend as little time possible backtracking or messing around. It might be a little tight, but it's very doable, especially if you manage to solve puzzles nice and quickly. You could even combine this with the Teetotaller (60G) achievement if you're feeling brave. If you get stuck on a boss or puzzle for too long, pause the game, load up an autosave, and try again. Also, bear in mind that if you pause the game, the clock will still be ticking.

To see the current elapsed time, you need to save, go to the loading menu, select the save, in the lower right corner there will be the elapsed time at the time of saving.
You don't have to go through the final boss; you just need to complete the game with any secret ending.
But it is important to remember that time in cut scenes and pauses is taken into account, so if you need to leave, we use saves.
When loading, time starts from the moment of loading, so saving and loading is safe.
