How to unlock the Full Circle achievement in Alpha Protocol - Definitive Guide
It doesn't matter how you complete the game, played on Easy difficulty makes it fairly easy to run through but regardless i will walk through a few awkard bits on the final level that might catch you out.
Overall: If you specialise in Pistol mastery and get Chain Shot, it can be really useful for taking out bosses in sometimes one go, if not then the guides below will show alternative ways of going about it.
Battle with Darcy:
This is can be a bit awkward for a first time player, basically, after escaping the main inner base, you'll begin to venture outside. The first real problem you'll encounter is Darcy (Who for a douche for the entire game is pretty hard to beat here without knowing the way forward). You'll know when you encounter him, he'll bugger off and send alot of guards after you. Take cover as Darcy will try to snipe you, pop off the first wave of guards (you can throw a grenade to the nearby truck, it can take out a few and stop yourself from being blown up by Darcy). Once the closest henchmen are down, take cover by the truck and from here, Darcy cannot shoot you and the majority of his grenades will not effect you either, you will need to move of the odd one manages to get past your cover. From the truck, shoot the other henchmen that arrive and when finished, look up to your left and see a tower. Go a turn around the tower, door will be on the side closest to Darcy's location, if you have an EMP use it to unlock the door, if not double check that every henchman is dead and pick the lock. Climb up and you will see a sniper rifle, use it and catch Darcy before he starts to shoot back (You don't cover while using the sniper rifle, leaves you open to fire). The sniper rifle will catch Darcy pretty hard, after a few shots he'll be down.
Gunship:
Pretty much straight after the Darcy fight, you will be attacked by a Chopper. It'll continually fire rockets at you and it's extremley hard to find any place that is decent to hide in, the rockets will pretty much catch you anywhere. Once you start, arm yourself with your best close quarters weapon and follow the trail taking out enemies as they come, keep moving though or you will be taken down by the chopper. Once you come across a courtyard underneath the Gunship's location, go to the bunker at the far end, this is the best spot to avoid being shot at by the gunship and also to take out all henchmen before moving on to destroy the chopper itself. Now listen for the beep, it'll let you know when the missiles are coming, when one hits your hiding bunker, run to find several rocket launchers in the area. There is one by your hiding bunker, one in each other bunker, there is also health to be found on the side of one of these bunkers aswell. After a few shots, you'll see it smoking, take cover and blast it with the assault rifle (If you have it) to finish it off. If you don't have an assault rifle, then you'll have to keep looking for more launchers, which may be right down the trail you came from.
Westridge/Leland:
This, in my opinion, is the easiest of all the fights. As soon as it begins, run forwards and take the first left, take cover here in one of the jut outs in the wall. Proceed to take out any henchmen threats close to you, from here (you may have to back out of cover a bit) you can get a decent view of Westridge/Leland without him doing any damage do you. Use your best ranged weapon and clock him with a few headshots, personally i did this battle without being damaged at all by Westridge/Leland or his henchmen.
That's it, to be honest it's pretty easy to obtain this achievement but if you're an average skilled gamer like myself, then i hope at least this'll help you out. If you are stuck on any of the mission's before this, there are guides for those missions on here also.
See Operation True Heirs for more info.
No matter what you do, or what choices you make, this achievement will always unlock upon finishing the final mission "Infiltrate Alpha Protocol". One thing your choices will decide however, is who you fight against for the final boss fight. One boss will man a nearby mini-gun, while another will use an infinite amount of RPG's to take you down.
For the boss with the mini-gun, do not move! Wait for other enemies to come for you, and take them out first. Once you do, just wait for a pause in his shooting, and then follow up with Chain Shot. If you've put a lot of points into the Pistol tree, you should be able to pull off a critical hit off while blind-firing behind cover. If so, use a critical shot or two to drop his endurance, and follow-up with a Chain Shot.
For the rocket touting boss, you'll have a lot more opportunities to damage him, but at a cost. He has the ability to destroy cover with his rockets, so you'll always need to be on the move. That means you'll need to drop his henchmen first before you start on him. Of course the usual Chain Shot strategy works beautifully here, so stick with it, and you'll drop him no problem.
Alpha Protocol completed. This trophy will pop during the final cinematic at the end of the mission "Infiltrate Alpha Protocol". It is worth mentioning that this trophy will be awarded regardless of what ending you get, or who survives.
