How to unlock the Basic Training achievement in Alpha Protocol - Definitive Guide

This achievement is an easy one to miss as you get your next objective after completing only one training mission but make sure you do all three, it's pretty self explanitory though, all you need to do is start the game, choose the character 'Recruit' (as it unlocks the Veteran character once Recruit is completed) now you have to escape from where you are being held, eliminating and avoiding guards, hacking computers and bypassing alarm systems on the way, then a guy called Yancy Westbridge says 'That's enough.' though the intercom, and you go chat with him via a screen in a room further down the corridor, and he tells you that you need more training.

Which involve in :

1) Gadgets Training with Sean Darcy.
2) Stealth Training with Alan Parker.
3) Weapons Training with Mina Tang.

To get to these you need to walk out of the room and a guy will be stood next to a door and when you walk up to him he will say 'No fire arms past this point." walk though the door and across the hallway and there should be a room with 3 or 4 guys in and a bunch of lockers there where you can change your facial appearance, walk a little further round and there is three doors which each once is a training room mentioned above.

Once all three are completed, you will talk to Yancy Westbridge then the achievement should pop.

This is also a very good time to work on team building if your going for the like achievement.

With ming act professional and score over 100 in the firing range

with Darcy be cocky and do well on his range

with the espionage guy cut to the point and he will like you.

To clarify, the achievement pops after you talk to Westbridge, not after completing the third training session.

Right after you meet the character named Westridge, you are first sent out to complete the three training courses, you can do them in any order, and each person's additional quests do not need to be done. The achievement is missable because you can choose to skip training altogether.

There are the three training styles:
Firearms
Gadgets
Stealth

Just make sure to locate and complete all three, and you'll be fine.

This is one of the very first achievements you will unlock at the start of the game. The game will start off with you trying to escape from the medical facility and find out who your captors are. There is a lot of confusion regarding this achievement, as many people think that once they finish this part of the game, the achievement should unlock. This however, is not the case.

After "officially" being accepted into Alpha Protocol, you will be given your possible options by a man named Yancy Westridge. He will first tell you where to go so that you can personally customize Mike, after which he will tell you you can meet back with him to continue the story, or go and do the training exercises. For this achievement, you must go and do each of the three training exercises, and then report back to Westridge. Just beyond the lockers were you can customize your look, towards the end of the room you're in, will be three doors, leading to each exercise. The extra missions given by each trainer are not required for this achievement, only a run through whatever course they're overseeing is.

WARNING: This achievement is missable. When given the choice between going back to Westridge right away, or doing the training exercises, don't go back! If you do not finish each obstacle course at least once, this achievement will not unlock.

In order for your training to be considered complete, you must complete the initial "escape scenario" at Graybox, and complete all three training sessions; Technical Ops Orientation, Marksmanship Orientation, and Covert Ops Orientation.

This trophy is not a story trophy, it is easy to miss, at the very beginning of the game, after you get dressed and change your appearance in the locker, your task will be to go to Westridge, but under no circumstances go to him immediately after receiving the task, first go to end of the room, there will be 3 doors, go into each of them one by one and complete the tasks that will be given to you there.
PS after Darcy teaches you how to use gadgets, he will offer you a bet, agree without hesitation. It will be easy to win, but you will get some money.
