The key to doing it fast is swap letters - it counts as a move just like 'pass' but can be done infinitely whereas passing can be done only three consecutive times before the match ends.
What I did was using two devices with two accounts. I created a game between those two accounts and shuffled letters each round on each account. Each shuffle takes about 5-10 seconds * 2 profiles = 10-20 seconds per move. This is approximately 3 moves per minute, so around 180 moves per hour.

As oO KwaX Oo pointed out - it can be done even faster by swapping on one profile and passing on the other. Thanks for the helpful advice!

This solution is great (+1) but should be rephrased as the "move" is Swap (which is important to precise as it is also possible to Shuffle letters but it doesn't count as a move) and the other "move" is Pass, not Pause.
Furthermore, you end the match by passing three consecutive times, for each player and Passing is faster than swapping! so the way I did it was to have one profile constantly pass while the over one was swapping. It is even faster with the second profile passing twice, swapping once, passing twice, swapping once, ... if you don't mind keeping count.

These achievements require that you take a total of 50, 100, and 200 turns. A turn could be playing a word, passing your turn, swapping your tiles, or resigning the game. This achievement is not actually related to how many words you play. You can check your progress towards this achievement in the Statistics screen from the Main Menu. Look at the "Moves Played" stat. Thanks to Creech for clarification on this achievement.
