How to unlock the Anodyne Supremacy achievement in AlphaJax - Definitive Guide
Has to be done in an online multiplayer game. You can use a second windows profile to play.
Easiest way I found is to use any 5 letter word that starts with Q. So Queen, Quilt, Quiet, Quill, Quips etc. There are quite a few. What is more important is the placement of the word. There are 4 places to do this, all of them around the border. If you look at the border of the game board there are 8 triple letter squares, but with half of those, 4 letters after are also triple word score squares. So you want to have the 'Q' starting the word on a triple letter square, and the fifth and final letter of your word on the triple word bonus square.
For example, using the example 'Quiet' and the triple letter score square in the bottom right quarter of the board on the right hand border, you want to put your Q, on the triple letter and it would end with the T on the triple word score bonus, giving you 105 points because the Q is on a triple letter and then the triple word bonus.
ANY 5 letter word starting with Q in this placement will score over 100 so you aren't tooo concerned with letters, and if you are going for 'Quiet' you will find the letters come reasonably easy than if waiting for specific letters. So use your goes to put one of your 5 letters in the middle 3 of the word (Don't use the triple letter or triple word!) and then use your next go to put your 5 letter word in. For Example using 'Pole' to set you up then 'Quiet' for the achievement:
-----------Q<---Triple letter, right hand border
PILL------U
---A-------I
----P O L E
------------T<---Triple word

I did this with a letter z. Used the same method though.

Use this website: http://www.scrabulizer.com/
Unlike Scrabble-solver or any of the others, you can tailor it to Alphajax specifically, so it uses the correct source dictionary for the words. Just fill in the board with what your current game is and the Scrabulizer will work out the very best possible words you can play and list them in order of points.
This will get you the maximum amount of points in every game you play.

Yes, but so do the other websites, this one better because it gives you every possible option and the highest scoring words you could possibly play. So it's still a better solution.

This is actually a poor solution for this achievement, since it will advise you to play the 'Q' or any other high value letters in your next movie instead of waiting and using them on a triple letter / triple word. But that website is great for a few other achievements for this game :)

This achievement requires that you score 100 points by placing a single word. This will require the use of bonus tiles and impeccable placement and planning. There are two routes you can take to get more than 100 points.
- This is IMO the easier of the two paths. Place a high value letter (preferably Z or Q, but maybe X or J) on a Triple Letter Bonus Tile and orient the word to also pass over a Triple Word Bonus Tile. This is possible on the edges of the board where these two bonus tiles are only separated by three spaces. Words like QUEEN and QUAIL will work for this. The benefit of this technique is that the word doesnt have to be that long.
- Use all 7 of your letters to create the word, and make use of the Triple Word Bonus Tile. Using all of your tiles in a single turn will earn you a bonus of 40 points. That means you really only need to earn 60 points in your 7 letter word, an easy task when you place it over some bonus tiles (especially a Triple Word Bonus Tile). Use the solver to come up with a full-rack word from your given letters. Also consider the fact that you will need to link this word with the ones already in play. In most cases this will mean you actually will be making an 8-letter word (7 of your letters attaching to one letter on the board). Still you will more often than not need to have a high-value letter in the word, but the exact placement will not be as important.
With both of these techniques, especially the second one, you will need to coordinate with the other player and get all of the tiles onto your rack that you will need, as well as build the board in the correct way to be able to link your high-scoring word. It is best to come up with the word you want to place and where you want to place it as soon as possible. Then you can work towards making it happen. Some tips:
- More often than not, swapped tiles will remain at the top of the pile. So if the other player has a tile you need, force them to swap it. Then when it is your turn, swap some of your tiles to get the tile/tiles that were just dropped by the other player. This is a good way to switch tiles directly between players.
- You will need to keep playing words in a different section of the board with the other player to continue moving though the letters that are left in the virtual bag, in order to get to the ones that you may need. Just be sure not to use any letters that your main player requires.
