SubQuest 20: To meet Hobbes in Tiloh Town:

After turning in Side Quest #19 travel to Veynahs Port and head to the female standing there with the (...) above her head. Speak to her, and this will finish the quest and then SubQuest #20 will activate.

Side Quest #19 is the only one in the game where you have to physically report back to the client.

@Zero, you have to go back to Arthur in the Armour shop in Korhall Port after completing Quest 6 to make Clara appear.

For #20, you have to wait until after you visit the Pillar in Atare during the main story in order for Hobbes to appear.
At least...I assume so, because I did all other quests and returned to Veynahs and talked to the girl like you suggested but Hobbes still never appeared.

The demon gargoyles needed for subquest 25 are only found near the end of the Archfiend's Castle. They won't appear near the entrance.

Also, as a tip for all the quests that need you to eliminate certain monsters or get specific drops, I recommend buying the Fragment Mantle and some Drop Boxes with ALP. They will make those quests go SOOOOO much faster.

Anyone got a suggestion how to do 15. The chewy fillets simply aren't dropping off the mobs they're supposed to.

Never mind. I brought in one of the thieves and just stole it off them.

I was post game when Penny wasn't appearing. I left and did other side quests then when she was the only one left apart from the ones that required her, I went back and she was there. Maybe she appears depending on which side quests you've done.

Hi guys. There’s a lot of misinformation on side quest #20 here and why it won’t show up. Because this guide is misinforming about it. I googled everywhere. Credit to Eezore on YouTube for being the only one with the correct solution that I could find.

You need to complete side quests 3 and 9 and 11. Once you complete 9, penny will show up in Veynahs Port. She will ask you to kill 6 sea cloud things. Anyways after spending 20 minutes doing that with every encounter on, you complete the request but then you need to talk to her again in order for Hobbes to show up in Tiloh Town for quest #20.

#3. Richard in Altare Town.
• Exterminate 3 red slimes around Altare town
***Talk to Richard after you complete this***

#9. Penny in Ambur Village.
• Exterminate 5 old corpses outside of Rubeus Town.
***Talk to penny after you complete this.***

#11. Penny in Veynahs Port
• Exterminate 6 Sea Condors our on the cloud sea
***Talk to penny for the final time***

#20. Hobbes should appear now in Tiloh Town. Also note that the “War Orcs” you need to exterminate are located in Illusory Tiloh Town. Why they call it “Psuedo Tiloh Town” for only this quest is beyond me.

Hey everyone, here is a video guide for all of the side quests. Only two things to really note: First none are missable. And second, you need to talk to a few characters after finishing the quests, so make sure to talk to them! Quest 3, 9, and 11 are the three you need to talk to after it's done. Hope it helps!

I only want to add that you have to talk to Nancy in Rubeus Town before Fred appears for subquest 17. For Subquest 20 i had to visit Veynah Port and talk to Penny before Hobbes appeared. So if you don't find the questgiver at the location in the video, you probably have to go back to another location to trigger something.

For the quest to get "chewy fillet", save yourself a lot of time and frustration floating around by going to the inlet underneath "Starphul woods". Go in as far as you can to the left and just float around in circles the drop rate is incredibly better in there for some reason. It will still take a bit of time but not even close to half of what it did just floating around the map.

Just an FYI so other people can avoid wasting hours like I did. In the shop you can buy something called a “drop box” which increases the item drop rate by 100%.

Another FYI but for quest 15 and others like it where you need items, it's also a lot easier having a thief in a party with the skill steal item (Isaac the elf).. It takes minutes if you just have everyone else guard and then use the thief to steal the items from the monsters you need.. I just did quest 15 in about 5minutes for all 5 chewy fillets, by having everyone else block while the thief used steal.

There are 25 total side-quests to complete in this game. None are missable. You will be able to do 20 of them during the "Normal End" and the other 5 during the "True End" path. You can find a complete list of the quests here.

It is worth noting that quests unlock after specific story quests, so if you don't find a quest in the town it specifies, continue with the story and check back later. Again, none are missable so you could even just do them all after unlocking the True End if you wanted.

Subquests are short quests given by NPCs that usually consist of either fighting enemies or obtaining specific items (usually enemy drops), with a few variety quests (like hide and seek) sprinkled within. You will know an NPC has a subquest to give you because they'll have blue scribbles above their head.

There are 25 subquests in total. 18 are available to you throughout you first playthrough of the game (1-17, 19), and the final 7 (18, 20-25) will only spawn after you've cleared the Normal Ending and are playing towards the True Ending on your cleared save file.

Important Note: Most subquests do not require you to go back to the quest giver to count as completed. However, a few do (look for the gray dots above the character's head), so make sure you do that, as subsequent related subquests will not spawn until you do.

- Subquest 3: Relay Stone Promotion
- Subquest 6: Dear Unknown Receiver (twice; once to finish the quest and once after you remotely claim the reward)
