I am a thorough explorer, so I had collected enough notes during the catacombs level. Since there's still several more chapters after it, you can miss some and still get the achievement.

This trophy will unlock once you've collected 80 out of the roughly 115 notes available in the game (give or take a few on the 115). Hank Notes and the Recorded Memory Cylinders for Crewmember
and Curator (respectively) count towards this as well, so you can work on all 3 at the same time. Basically anything that's listed on the actual journal/note page will count. You more than likely find a decent handful of these by just playing through the story, but some of them are pretty well hidden and you'll need to go out of your way for them. Please reference the Collectible Guide found here if you're having trouble finding the 80 required for the trophy. You must get all 80 in one single run. Your progress/collectibles do not carry over across new games.
