How to unlock the Lightbringer achievement in Amnesia: Rebirth - Definitive Guide
Missable.
Use a total of 120 matches in a single playthrough, Tasi can carry up to 10 on original mode and 20 on adventure mode. Look around for matchbooks and use them when found.
Please note: Advise this be done on Adventure mode as darkness does no harm and the player can burn as many as they can find, furthermore, advise saving at least one for the Arsenal as a puzzle requires a lit match.

Yes, but Adventure mode is easier, as Tasi can carry more matches.

You will need to burn through 120 matches to get this trophy. They must all be done in one single run (your progress does not carry over to new saves). Scattered throughout the game are a lot of matchbooks that, when picked up, will give you anywhere between 1-3 matches. For this trophy, you simply need to light them. You don't need to actually light any torches, candles, braziers, etc with them, you just need to light the match itself.
You should be picking up every matchbook you come across. You can only carry 10 matches at a time so if you come to one and your "inventory" is full, just light a match to free up a slot so you can pick it up. Once you reach the Fortress and even more so, the Cistern, you'll be wanting to light the rooms you come to as often as possible to keep your fear down. If you need help with the matchbook locations, the majority of them have been provided in the Collectible Guide found here.
As long as you're being diligent with them, you should unlock this trophy around The Laboratory, possibly sooner. Even if you don't, though, matchbooks are available all the way up to the final chapter, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to light the 120 needed for the trophy.

You need to burn 120 matches throughout the game, in one playthrough.
Frequently inspect jugs, wicker baskets and boxes for matchboxes. Light torches, candles, lamps, etc. with matches to illuminate your path or place. I was able to light up to four objects at a time with one match. Don't collect matches when you have at least 8 of them, because... there may be 3 of them in a matchbox - in this case there will be unnecessary losses, it is better to “throw in the milk” the excess.
