How to unlock the Cleithrophobist achievement in Amnesia: The Bunker - Definitive Guide

There are 5 Vents to open and 6 chains to cut to earn this achievement. You will need to progress the story to unlock the wrench which is used to open vents and the cutters which is used to cut the chains.

Prison - 1 Vent, 2 chains
Infirmary - 1 Chain
Officers Quarters - 1 Chain
Maintenance - 2 Vents, 1 Chain
Soldiers Quarters - 2 Vents
Arsenal - 1 Chain

Do you think that exploding that one chained door instead of cutting the chain would void the achievement? I’m pretty sure I have all of these except for that one unfortunately, and I remember blowing that up since I didn’t have the cutters yet and I was curious what was inside :(

I have blown up the door with the chain in prison and still got the cheevo

Yet another video guide hahahaha
For the walkthrough, you can get the following:
    Wrench - find the code for "Stafford" in the pillbox through maintenance after getting the key from the chapel
      Bolt cutters - in the prison, have the power on, then use the wrench to open up a vent to open the door and grab the cutters (yes this vent counts)'

      Once you've got them all, then the video will show you the map with the locations, but the basic breakdown is:
        Central Bunker (1 vent + 2 chains)
          Maintenance (1 Vent)
            Prison (2 chains)
              Soldier's Quarters (2 vents)
                Arsenal (1 chain)

                And it should pop! hope this helps!
