Don’t know if this is a glitch, but I got this in the trenches in the opening shooting the hinges off the locked door with the revolver.

Once you acquire the shotgun, simply shoot a door to destroy it.

Just as an added side-note, while fighting Toussaint it is possible to earn this achievement if he shoots a wooden door with the shotgun himself (which happened to me). Not sure if it's meant to be that way or some kind of bug/error.
