You start the mission with a new unit, the alpha. They're fairly strong but you will still need assistance if you're not well fed. I assume you'll be wanting to go for the other level achievement for not replicating at the same time. The trick here is to use your freeze and poison probes.
I preferred the poison probes for killing groups of enemies. Never take on more than 4 at a time, so if you see 2 groups patrolling near each other, try and kite one group away, hit them with the poison probe and finish them off. Eventually you'll come to 2 large areas with tightly packed groups. Kiting or aggroing these will end in failure so use the cryo probe to get past these areas. Once you reach the queen you can save, replicate, and go back for the larger groups, allowing you to load from a good place to get the achievement for not replicating. The queen and one other alpha definitely make killing the larger groups a lot easier.
