How to unlock the A WELL-OILED MACHINE achievement in Among Us - Definitive Guide
To earn this achievement, every crewmate in a game must complete their tasks (with you on the crewmate team, of course). This includes engineers, scientists, guardian angels, and any other dead crewmates as well. If someone with tasks remaining to be done leaves the game, their tasks no longer need to be completed. This achievement cannot be obtained if you are the/an imposter for said match.
I've consistently played Among Us since it rose to popularity in the summer of 2020. Statistically speaking, a "task win" is most likely to happen on Skeld or Mira with only one or two impostors in the game. Polus and Airship are both really big maps and this tends to discourage players from prioritizing finishing tasks. Three impostors also tend to be really chaotic, and after playing hundreds of games with three impostors, task wins don't seem to happen very often.
Unfortunately, winning with tasks typically comes down to the type of people you're playing with. Like any other game, Among Us has trolls who specifically won't do their tasks to aid the impostors. Other people will get mad that they've been voted out of the ship, and then also not do their tasks out of spite. It's impossible to avoid these people in public lobbies, so you'll just have to hope that you get a good group if you aren't going to boost this.
First, look for lobbies with either Skeld or Mira selected. Only join lobbies with one or two impostors, I don't think task wins are any more frequent in one or the other. Once you're in a lobby, take a look at the settings. For this achievement, the less tasks, the better. Typically there will be one long task, one common task, and three short tasks, but hosts will add more or remove more depending on their preferences. If you see around seven or more tasks queued up in a lobby, you should probably just look for another one, as it's unlikely everyone will finish all of their tasks.
Once you're in a game, focus on your own tasks. No matter what else is going on. Don't worry about dying, don't worry about watching someone else verify themselves, just finish your own tasks. Once you're done, and assuming you're still alive, start noting who is working on what task. If you notice someone not doing tasks, call them out on it when either a body is found or a meeting is called, (but do not call an emergency meeting for this purpose alone.
Another important thing to do is to keep suggesting a task win. It will seem suspicious, but most of the time crewmates will agree with you, unless of course the impostor(s) has done something very obvious to out themselves. Even if you personally see someone vent or kill, it would technically be in your best interest to not snitch on the impostor, because if they're (all) voted out you can't get a "task win."
You could also of course host your own game with your own settings, but these can take some time to get going. In the end, this isn't something that can really be controlled, but this is a good way to steer a game in the right direction to meet the requirements for this achievement. If you have any questions or suggestions, comment below! Happy hunting!

I got it by using 2 phones and a tablet to make 4 players, set a private game to only 1 task and did the tasks on each for the win

Why is it so hard to get a game to end this way, in my experience it keeps going 95%, then people start pulling emergency meetings, then the imposter must leave or something and it wins automatically.

Self-explanatory, you and all your Crewmates will need to win the game by completing all the tasks before the Impostors win (winning by voting off Impostors won't work, the green progress bar at the top left of the screen needs to be completely filled). Small reminder, you can still complete tasks as a ghost if you get killed by an Impostor.
While it is possible to earn this trophy with random players, it will be quite hard as some of your Crewmates will be AFK or just won't care about doing their tasks. Should you wish to boost it, you only need 4 players.
