How to unlock the Supreme Snow God achievement in Amped 3 - Definitive Guide

This achievement takes time but keep at it.

If you come across a certain jump where you can't seem to get enough points before the landing, just go to the editer and put a bigger ramp there.

On troubleing Snow Quests, the same thing applies. Simply add ramps and rails to add to the line.

On Samurai Slaloms, remember that holding both triggers down = top speed, and to use the appropriate trigger for those sharp turns.

Also you need to get the number of people to repect you with awesomness one each mountain section, this counts as a gold medal

(If I left something out I apolgize. If anyone needs further advise just message me and I'll happily answer the best I can ^^ )

Good solution. Only thing I might add, is that if you think you're done and the achievement hasn't popped, to zoom in all the way and check near the chairlifts and other events. I was one medal short and it ended up being (essentially) behind the bottom of one of the lifts.

Also, while doing the jumps (Arials / Grabs etc.) dont push the left stick all the way to either directions. If you slightly hold the stick between middle and any other direction the slow motion will kick in giving you a lot more then just tryin two flips or 360s.

Remember:

Arials / Grabs / Spins (Not grinds) - just slightly hold the left stick to the right / left / center / up / down, and after a second or two the slow mo will kick in (you'll notice it by stars sparking from your trick score) allowing you to score a lot more.

This really wasn't that bad. I stuck with it and finished all 240 challenges in about 3 days... I would say the Kitty Clean Ups are the worst, stick with those and you'll get the path down eventually.

I can't figure out how to do the call out challenges. I have gold on just about everything but the call outs.

a tip to add to this solution is that by completing challenges not actually getting gold on them, will give you new gear and new moves especially the black challenges. This makes it soo much easier when you go back to challenges that you were having trouble on and you will be able to get gold on them with very little trouble!

If anybody still plays this game, Only advice i can give is to take your time, alot of the timed challenges kitty clean ups you will have extra time so dont rush them, although a couple you will have to get perfect. Keep at it because once you learn where you have to go you will get it. The hardest challenge for me was the samurai race In northwood which is the first map, and laxx kitty clean up to exit the half pipe hold LT and RT.
If your wondering how long it will take i did everything in 11:35 game time hours

Despite the exceptionally low ratio for this launch title, some of these challenges got pretty demanding on occasion! For a 16 year old game, I was hoping Amped 3 would have more of a community here on TA; this game might be a hidden gem! Well after 15 hours, I'm now a Supreme Snow God and I shall extend my own tips in the spoiler below so as to not bloat this comment:

Note: The game does NOT actually keep track of the total gold medals you have for each mountain area or completion percentage out of 100. However, you can check your total gold medals out of 240 under "Rider Info" from the pause menu. Aside from that, the game only tallies how many of each challenge type you cleared under "My Stash > "My Stats" in the main menus. So if you find yourself scouring for the last few remaining challenges, check there to cross-reference. You could also be forgetting to stoke the required amount of bystanders at Avoriaz and Zugspitze. Doing that awards you 2 other gold medals. In addition, MysticWeirdo has a thorough walkthrough of Amped 3 if any other information is needed:

The achievement is called 'Supreme Snow God' for a reason and that being that you have to Finish every single challenge in every zone on every Mountain and impress the max amount of bystanders in each of those areas also as the bystanders that also count as a challenge. I didn't find that out until i actually finished each of the challenges and still had 4 'gold' medals to earn.

Okay so here's a Full list of each of the types of challenges and how many there are of each.

Medals:
Gold: 240
Silver: 196
Bronze: 196

Story Related: (Don't count as Medals)
-38 in total

Regions: (Stoke each of them!)
-14 in total

Challenge Rundown:
1. Magic Circles: 21
2. Lowrider: 7
3. Impress The Hottie: 4
4. Sponsor: 13
5. Kitty Cleanup:12
6. Lord Of The Board: 10
7. Samurai Slalom:8
8. Mobilize: 4
9. Sled Trauma: 9
10. Snow Quest: 22
11. Rail Call-Outs:27
12. Aerial Call-Outs: 17
13. Grab Call-Outs: 17
14: Spin Call-Outs: 20
15. Flip Call-Outs: 22
16. Carving Call-Outs:13

There's the full list and you can also check them in game On the 'My Stash' Option.

If there's for example a Flip Call-out you cant get enough points on then go to the 'Build' Option in the pause menu at the left side. Through that you should be able to place Ramps and Grindable objects to help you score the set amount on points you need to complete the challenge.

Note: For all of the Spin, Flip & Grab Challenges you NEED to do at least one of those and the rest of the time you have left while air-born you can do whatever tricks you want and the points will add up.

Best bet is to try and chain all your points for a bigger multiplier on any and every challenge to make it a straight win at the end.

If there is anything you think i may have missed or any spelling errors Please notify me and i'll edit the Solution. Same if there's anything you think should be added let me know.

Hope this guide Helps and good luck with the achievement!

Ive just started playing this again and ive completed story (ages ago) so if ive completed story (38 golds) and 3/14 regions stoked i should have at least 41 golds. I've also done a few golds on the challenges yet it only says i have 36/240 :S Any ideas why?

The Story Missions don't count as a Gold Medal. Just finish all the challenges and all Regions stoked and your good. Sorry i should have mentioned that in the solution also.

has anyone got any tips for the Samurai slalom challenge on the first mountain, top right of the mountain on the map, i've been trying to get through all the gates with 10 seconds left for gold but keep on getting around 9 seconds left and i really feel like i'm doing a perfect run but obviously not :/ don't think building will help with this challenge but maybe it does and i'm missing something...

Very consuming and annoying achievement at times. You must get a gold medal on every challenge on every moutain for this achievement.

Note * The Impress the Bystander challenges count towards this achievement, even the ones on mountains and locations where you do not get an achievement.

There are 240 challenges in all that need golds for this achievement.

This can take anyone, in the region of 10-15 hours depending on skill

TIPS AND TRICKS

If you are strugglin with grinding media call out challenges, go in to create mode, add an object you can grind to start it early, to achieve more points.

Kitty Cleanup - It is important on these to memorise the route if needs be. Simply follow the route and work out where and when you need to turn, jump, get a rail, etc. After a while, once you have worked out the route, you should pick these up.

Magic Cirles - These in my opinion are the hardest ones to do. I firstly worked out the route and then when to leave the jumps/grinds and when to trick. Then I added in the moves. After a few attempts I got them.

MY BIGGEST TIP - TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE STYLE FEATURE - You get significantly more points by holding the left analogue stick halfway instead of all the way in the middle of tricks and taking advantage of the style bonus, than you do attempting to spin round fifty times like a catherine wheel.

Beware - I have heard of people not receiving either the Lesser or Supreme Snow God achievements if they were to receive them at the same time. If needs be, leave one bronze till the end and go back and get gold on that.
