How to unlock the Annoholic achievement in Anno 1800 Console Edition - Definitive Guide

You need to start custom game with custom rules. There would be a difficulty bar, you need to set it to the highest value possible (select 3 Strongest AIs, disable neutral AIs, set almost all conditions to rightmost value, do not forget to set victory condition, i recommend "reach 5000 citizens").
Then just use your starting island and focus on first tier houses with farmers. You need ~5-6 wooden production chain to build lot of houses fast. Also grow your fish and cloth production according to population needs. 30-40 minutes of such expansion and you should reach 5k population, win the game and get achievement.

You create a sandbox, set the difficulty settings to maximum, watch the difficulty slider, there will be a diamond at the very top, then everything is ok. Next, set the victory condition - Recruit 5,000 inhabitants. Launch the game. Your task is to build houses for 5000 bodies. 20-30 minutes and the achievement is ready.
