How to unlock the PACIFIST achievement in Ape Out - Definitive Guide
As the description describes, you have to complete any album without killing anyone. You can tell if you're on track for this achievement if you can see the ape with the banana icon in the top right hand corner of the pause menu (the same as the icon for the achievement).

Through my testing, here is what does and doesn't count as a "kill":
DOES COUNT AS A KILL:
- Grabbing enemy and throwing them, and they disintegrate
- Hitting an enemy
DOESN'T COUNT AS A KILL:
- Grabbing an enemy, and they get shot by another enemy
- Grabbing an enemy, and they shoot at another enemy
- Throwing/dropping a steel door at/on an enemy
Here are some general tips:
- If you kill somebody, you can die or restart the chapter to go back to when you didn't kill somebody. This makes this achievement significantly easier than the PERFECT achievement, in my opinion. The PERFECT achievement in Ape Out (Windows) worth 508 pointsComplete an Album without Taking Damage
- When you encounter a steel door, try to leave at least one shotgunner around if you can - grab all of the normal soldiers, and let the shotgunner take them out. Once all of the normal soldiers are killed, grab the shotgunner and drop him as far away from the door as possible, as they are much slower to catch up to you once you pry the door open.
- Don't bother holding the steel door and carrying it down the corridor - drop it down as fast as you can and wiggle through using human shields. This is because there are typically enemy spawners at the other end of the corridor, and you'll want to get past them before the corridor fills up.
- At the very end of chapter 8 (Blown Out), you'll be stuck in a red corridor with a steel door at the end. This is the hardest corridor to complete, as you'll typically be stuck with one enemy who can shoot you quite easily as you pry open the door to freedom. I ended up grabbing him, walking 3/4 to the left of the corridor, and then threw the solider EXACTLY left (if you aim slightly high or low, he'll die on the wall). You will have enough time to pry the door open before he can run back if you time it right.
