For this achievement you need to buy one of ability named "Ranged parry". It cost 1 skill point.
You will need to spend 7/8 ability points before you can buy that ability.

After that, go to Highcastle mission "Wails in the night" (last mission in chapter 1). You just need to parry (use Y in perfect time) fireball.

For anyone that uses the stealth over the combat:
The trick here is locking onto the enemy first and then pressing Y for the parry after he throws the fireball.
Just pressing Y makes you stand there and take the hit.

Scorcher’s are enemies that hurl fireballs at you once detected. You will see these appear shortly into the story and they tend to be on the rooftops of buildings. In order to counter a fireball, you need to unlock the Ranged Parry Passive Ability from Iwao in the dojo in Kakurega Village. Once you own this, find a Scorcher, have him detect you to start throwing fireballs at you and then press 
to counter and if done right, you will earn the trophy.
