This is story related and should not be missable. The achievement unlocked for me after the mission "Secret of Daikizo Mine" once I was done talking to everybody.

This didn't unlock for me until I returned to the village and watched a cutscene with lady and leader. (If you're worried about it not popping right after "Secret of Daikizo Mine")
