One thing to note I discovered as I was following the guide is the final collectible shown can be gotten much sooner in the game if you are not at the particular level he does it in. just stand at the base of the pillar, double jump and look up and you will get the prompt to teleport.

You are able to collect the 7th and 9th items shown in this video during your first visit to this level, in the mission "Akatsuchi's Archive". Adding these to the first five shown here gets you to the seven collectibles listed for that mission.
