This is one of only two skill-based trophies in the game, but taking the steps to unlock "Mark High Score" will put you in an immediate position to unlock this one.
The main key here is to remember to upload your new High Score ranking when prompted! The Trophy pops just moments after you do this.
But first, you'll need to beat the CPU's High Score of 30,000 points to have a score to upload in the first place (and another Trophy, the aforementioned "Mark High Score").
To make this task easy on yourself, be sure and use the "Create Interrupt Save Data" feature from the Options Menu (accessed with the Touch Pad or R3 button). Every time you use it, it saves a snapshot of your progress and score. Plus, the game auto-loads that state each time you launch the game from the PS4 Main Screen, allowing you to pick up where you left off.
Now, to get this Trophy, you must first get the High Score Trophy by beating those 30,000 points. Depending on your skill level, this can be accomplished in 2-3 matches, but as long as you remember to save your progress as listed above, you should be all right.
Once you have surpassed the 30,000 score you can then lose the match and enter your initials in the leaderboard screen to unlock the first Trophy and earn the opportunity to upload your high score to the network soon thereafter. Once you select "Yes", the final Trophy unlocks.
Also of note, whenever you set the high score, the game gives you the option to upload your score. Do it and you will unlock the other Gold Trophy, "Record Score" as mentioned above.
General Tactics:
-- Practice a game or two to understand the timing and controls
-- Hit and run with light punches and heavy kicks to wear your opponents down before attempting to grapple them
-- Don't attempt to perform more than 3 uninterrupted moves in a row, the AI will make you pay for it
-- Save your state after several successful moves, but do so from a distance to avoid an immediate attack when reloading
-- If you hear the music change, be careful: you're hurt and can be pinned if you're dropped
