Each one of these challenge levels never changes, so it's easy enough to learn the patterns, and find a good place for your ship.
The following video will show you how to complete all the challenge levels needed for completion. All of them use a double ship, except for 27 which is when I did the Single Perfect achievement:

I feel like a turbo/rapid fire controller is being used here?
My ship doesn't fire that quickly using the x button with dual ship and cant hit them all in time even with lining them up properly....

I ended up doing them all single ship, it was easier to just keep practicing with a single ship, then to try and fail to get a second ship over and over.

The video you are using makes it way harder than it is.

This sounds kinda pathetic, but I actually used scotch tape on my screen to mark a little to the left and right of the starting location. Using the high score to center yourself doesn't really work for me. Just thought it might help someone.
