How to unlock the IMANOK CODE achievement in Arcade Paradise - Definitive Guide

Enter the Konami code on the main menu before starting the game.

cn_up cn_up cn_down cn_down cn_left cn_right cn_left cn_right cn_B cn_A cn_start

You'll know you've done it correctly when you get a golden washing machine in the main menu.

When you're in the game all your washing machines and dryers will now be gold, and they'll also always give you S rank cleaning no matter how long you leave them in the machines.

Edit. Potentially missable achievement if you leave it too far into the game. So try and do it sooner rather than later.

Appears to be missable. If you've already progressed to the end of the storyline, entering the code doesn't do anything apart from show the golden washing machine on the menu.

I will not delete my Save because later DLCs🤷‍♂️

Possibly patched? I just got it after I beat the story, it did not unlock in menu but I hit continue and started picking up trash and it popped 🤷‍♀️.

Got it after end-game as well after doing the code and seeing the golden washer on the start menu. All the story achievements (upgrading arcade), no washers/driers. Also no litter/gum, because of the one other upgrade (meditation?). After being in the arcade for a minute, it unlocked.

We patched it so it pops even after there are no washers. Reason it was missable was a last minute change to comply with PlayStation... It used to pop as soon as you did the cheat mode in the front end but that failed a TRC so we had to make it part of gameplay (literally just before launch).

You can do this before end game without having to start over just do the code and play as normal and should pop I should say tho I haven’t expanded yet and still in the laundromat phase

Just thought I should add you can tell the codes worked if you see a gold washing machine pop up literally in the title menu that says new game/continue but the achievement is a little delayed from when you jump into the game.

Is there a certain point you have to reach in the game first? I can unlock it, but my wife who just started can't. I'll mess around with it and post results.

Just to be clear. Once you input the code, a shiny little gold washing machine will show up on the menu screen, the achievement will not pop here... Just know that my achievement didn't unlock until I used the washing machines in game.

not sure how to make this pop, i have the shiny washers/dryers, did a several loads of laundry from start to finish. nothing happened.

Can confirm it does work even when you are at a later stage in the game where you have no more launderette in your arcade. Achievement pops when you load your save.

I was in the middle of the game and even so I managed to release it, after carrying out the tip a golden symbol appeared in the menu and the washes turned golden, after starting a wash the achievement appeared

Got to the end game as well and no achievement pop when entering the code. Seems like I'll have to wait for a patch :/

EDIT: Got it. Found a workaround.

- Deleted my local save data from the console (do not select DELETE EVERYWHERE)
- Went offline so it wouldn't sync my save data from the cloud
- Booted up the game, entered the code at the title screen, saw gold washing machine icon, started new game
- Washing machines were gold, went through the first day tutorial
- Started the second day and washed / dried 1 load of laundry
- Quit the game, deleted my local save data, went back online
- Started up the game and synced my original save data from the cloud. As it did this, the achievement popped.

Just press Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right Circle X at the main menu.

You'll know it worked if you see a gold washer/dryer near the continue button. Once in game, all the appliances will be gold and you will get S rank for ALL laundry even if you leave it in a washer or dryer until the next day.

On the screen before the main menu of the game (Should look like this https://imgur.com/DHgDIfp) press the following sequence of inputs:

↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → q e

Once you hit e, it takes you to the main menu and you will know you did it right if you see a golden washing machine appear next to the word "Paradise".
