How to unlock the Slacker achievement in Arcade Paradise - Definitive Guide

After hours and hours different days trying to get this finally got it because I didn't realise one thing and as soon as I did I completed it in 10 minutes. You can stack cards on top of each other which I never knew thought you just made a stack after stack. They have to be the same colour cards.

So say you have a (K.Q.J.10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.A) going black red black red etc...and let's say the number 7 in this stack is black. You notice in another column you have a black 7 on its own but no 8 to attach it to. You can move this lone black 7 to the full stack between the 6 and 8. Do this by clicking the black 7 on its own and then clicking the number above the black 7 in the full stack which will be 8 this will then double up the 7 giving you 2 7s in the same stack.

You can also double up if you only had an 8 and 7 (or any 2 numbers in sequence) together as long as the card you want to double up has the 1 higher number attached to it in the column.

Actually I'm not sure this tip is really a tip, and the whole stacking this is definitely a bug. When you stack the cards like this you can no longer click on them to get them to the decks in the top right so they're stuck at the bottom.

Edit: Scratch that, it is a tip lol. Thumbs up for the discovery.

Once I figured out how the glitch worked it made sense. Aim to get all the cards from the top left stack to the bottom, so ideally you'd have two King's of opposing colours with a complete set of K Q J 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 of alternating colours, with the two other Kings on their own. Once those sets are set up, send the two overlapping red twos to the goal by pressing A quickly 4 times; and you'll send them both to the goal, do the same with the black twos, then the the red threes, then the black threes etc.

I needed to restart once but I got it very quickly after that.

For those struggling with this like I was, stacking as mentioned by Bertie 94 is definitely necessary to complete this achievement. Selecting the cards to move back out of the stack can be tricky because they won't highlight when you select it. The ultimate win goal isn't to get four alternating colored stacks at the bottom row but to stack them all in the top four slots by card suite starting from Ace then going in ascensing order (A, 2, 3, etc.). Hope this helps and good luck!

I’ve been trying to stack card and it’s not doing anything with the guide mentioning this. Maybe a video guide would be more helpful honestly

This is such a wild way to implement Solitaire without giving indication to it.

Once you are able to earn money from the To Do List and purchase upgrades buy the Idiot's Guide to Personal Computing for £90. This adds extra shortcuts to the PC desktop including a Games folder. Open that and play through a game of Solitaire. Once you win, achievement pops.

Solitaire is bugged. You can put cards of the same type and colour in the decks below. I found that after playing during 3h lol.

Getting viable solitaire deals is a major challenge. I’ve started at least 50 games, and have not succeeded in finishing yet. I’m not that bad at solitaire :-)

I 100%ed Microsoft Solitaire (before they added a couple more achievements including getting Levels 75, 100 and 200 - the only remaining achievements I need) and I CANNOT for the life of me get this achievement, good lordt. I have spent an in game week working on it and they just keep giving me unsolvable decks. I am fuming.
