To enter here, there will be a green target dummy ball, you have to deal enough damage to destroy it, which is a lot. I accomplished this after I received Avarn's Sword in the fire Kingdom.

I had just started Pine Peak but I had seen and tried to open the vines earlier. I was 85% with some combination I don't remember because I was just goofing off just before bed. Later after I picked up the Slime Cannon and up-leveled to +3, Hogtail Hat, Mauveite Breastplate, and Onyx Ring+4 and carved it like a Thanksgiving turkey with a lot of time to spare it seemed like.

The quickest way I have found to get it would be with the cobalt dagger +1, crab helmet, crab scale mail, ruby ring +3, ruby brooch, paladins light, and half way through attacking drop a bomb does enough to break it last second

Thanks. Although I didn't have a ruby ring as I wasn't fortunate enough to have that drop yet. But seemingly I didn't need it. I just upgraded the knife to +2 instead and used a bomb at the end for good measure.

Bomb did the work for me - didn't need to farm any gear upgrades at all, just slime cannon + obsidian gear + bomb drop, et voilà

I did this by upgrading the Third Eye Tome to +5, while wearing Sorcerer Hat, Sorcerer Robe, Sapphire Ring +3, all of which increased my Magic Damage by 60%. I could've used a bomb, I suppose, or the Badge that drops a mini Bomb on dashing, but this worked for me. Hope it works for you 
Edit: I had the Sapphire Brooch Badge equipped for Magic Damage, my other badges were irrelevant.

You'll likely come across this green vine barrier blocking your path as you explore in the east. You'll need to come back once you're stronger, as the only way to destroy the vine barrier is to do enough damage to the green orb fast enough before it heals. Weapons you find from chests in Twisted Caverns should be strong enough. What you'll also need to do is drop a bomb with
so it explodes while you're attacking it, to add to the damage.
