Win by combat: Defeat the king in battle without dying.
Recommended characters:
Thane (Fight amulet) (Faster game) or River (Guaranteed with her Hero Power)
Make sure that you are not Corrupted before initiating the final fight
Do all the quests that reward you with Fight.
Try to get the Squire as a follower, who will ensure that you don't die in combat avoiding a loss by prestige, since attacking the king makes your prestige 0.
Save a few cards with sword icons (or try to recruit the Berserker), then burn them in the final fight to have Piercing damage against the king, securing the kill.
Alternatively if you're River just wait until the king is at 1 health and finish him off with your hero power.

This type of victory is earned by killing the King. To do this you must first enter the castle by beating the perils around the castle, or by progressing your questline enough to be given one that gives you instant access. Once you are inside the castle you must ward off any attacks for a turn, and then you may attack the King. If you manage to kill the King and survive the battle the trophy is yours.
The easiest way to get this trophy is to play as River. Her hero skill does one point of damage to an enemy before going into battle with them. On the morning that the King’s health drops to 1, enter the castle. You can enter the castle before this and wait, but you will have to fight off attacks from the King’s Guards. The morning when the king goes down to 1 health is however your final chance to enter the castle, as when you enter you have to wait until your next turn before being allowed to attack.
When it is your turn, simply attack the king and you will use your hero skill to kill him (before initiating any real “battle”) and get the trophy.
