The way I did this was similar to Elite Heros except I used the PKM (fully upgraded for max power,unlock the 3rd barrel when you get the Elite PMC achievement)
Run through the vault door and keep shooting Dalton with the PKM whilst keeping your partner nearby to heal you if Dalton gets one of his damn grenades to hit you.
When he does fall turn around after the cutscene and you should see a door to an elevator (where the guards came from prior to the battle)
You and your partner run in there and Dalton should be in sniper sight.Be patient and try and get off one shot at a time as the RPG guy will easily kill you and your partner with one shot if you stay in sight to long.If your partner is downed simply drag him out of harms way to the elevator and you will be fine.

- important is that at any checkpoint you can exit out the game, change weapons and load the checkpoint again.
- this was vital as we wanted PKM for pre-boss fight, but for boss fight we switched to STINGER and grenade launcher both of us.
- so, basically, inside the vault, PKM your way through everything and for the back to back set your sensitivity to max
- then when dalton shows up get yourself killed for checkpoint, exit out, switch to stinger and grenade launcher, set sentitivity back to medium or whatever you prefer.
- now when fight starts both of you straight away shoot a stinger at him (aim till red circle)
- run back into corridor, reload, catch him with a couple of stingers from inside the corridor. this will bring hom to ground level
- one of you go left, other one go right. use sidearm (p90) to kill 1-2 guys if needed and when close enough to dalton, grenade him to death.
trraining takes some time, but the fight itself takes like 2 minutes max. when mastered.

Fairly simple as it says complete Mission 8 on professional difficulty (requires Veteran Pack DLC free from marketplace.)
The only really hard part here is when you come to Dalton right at the end, as he hails you with greandes and not only are you fighting him but an unlimited amount of goons. I found the best thing to do was hide in the vault which is around the outer edge of the room and keep sniping him until he drops to the lower level once he drops to the lower level there will be a cut scene and you will be transported to the centre of the room once again run for the vault as there will now be goons with rocket launchers lurking about. Try to find a good spot in the vault where you can snipe him without taking too much damage and job done. If you have you .44 equipped you can always try and charge him once his health is minimal and go for your "I Wanna Be A Cleaner" achievement for two birds in one stone.
